An excellent summary of the current state of play in Ukraine from an 'Estonian military analyst'. I'll quote just some bits about the action in the Kherson region;

"Ukraine's success on the eastern bank of the Dnipro is strategically more meaningful. Their small bridgeheads are steadily expanding their areas of control. Russia has a serious risk that Ukraine will cut through the M14 highway that connects Melitopol & Nova Kakhovka."

"This would significantly hamper Russia’s ability to supply their forces on the eastern bank. It can also affect Russia’s position on the Kinburn peninsula which is the only remaining area of the Mykolaiv oblast under Russian occupation."

"It is not strategically very important, but Russia uses Kinburn to launch attacks on Mykolaiv. The roads to Kinburn are already under Ukraine’s fire range."

You were saying? $100 billion for 0.25% territorial gains.

🤡

The USA has spent like, less than 5 billion actual dollars on Ukraine. This is in economic support.

The many many additional billions of value sent there, often reported as "aid" and really only ever claimed as costs by pieces of human garbage like yourself and all Republicans, are in the form of OLD ASS WEAPONS that were being tossed in the garbage, incurring their own costs of disposal (which now is actually erased!), are instead being used to great effect with ripping apart Russian shitdogs. It's fucking awesome.

The US is actually spending less than 0.006% of the previous 4 decades of military budget, actually wiping out the fucking Soviet pig machine in less than 3% of that same time. It's the greatest thing ever, and as a lover of peace, you agree that actually paying yourself to wipe out genocidal assholes of the world is a fucking bargain.

so, you're welcome.

I donate every month.
My family is here.
Please watch this.
These are the people we are dealing with.

...all things, so that if you would run without order, you'll be shot. That happened already.
Did you saw it personally?
Peronally nope, but that night in camp i saw how commander of detachment, if im correct, were shot. He didnt carried his order, abandoned wounded and were shot. 150 men saw it.
Did it happened in your presence?
Yes. I saw it myself.
Did you saw some tortures, someone were beaten up or something?
In training camp that commander were beaten up and then shot. That happened. And one runner. He tried to flee, were captured, his leg were shot. Maybe when he were trying to flee... he were brutally executed.
Tell more about it.
His hands were chopped off. Medics were told to apply tourniqettes so that he wont die immediately. That was training for medics, as they said. And for others to see, what will happen to them if they would try to run away. He were on run for 2 days. Legs were shot, hands and legs chopped off later, in morning it were placed in crate and were blown up on AT mine, so there wont be evidences. We were told that thats what will happen to everyone who will try to run away or violate order.

Nov 2023, Russia retains its maximalist goal of Russia reaching the Polish border. Of Ukraine no longer existing.
Putin's plan to achieve this, is a war of attrition. To wear Ukraine down as the West fails to step up and Ukraine STILL remains vastly under supplied.

Russia says co-existence not possible

Miroshnik said Russia could resist NATO as long as was needed to defeat Ukrainian forces and that the West would eventually lose interest

Ukrainians ultimately feel abandoned
"Support from the West was not massive and fast enough, and the time spent on preparation allowed Russia to be very well prepared for the counter-offensive" - Czech President Petr Pavel

Russia's infrastructure continues to suck ass and die. Ukrainian Marines have fortified their positions on the eastern side of the Dneiper. The mud season is now in full swing, orcs will lean on what helicopters they have left more and more, so we might see an uptick in Stinger and StarStreak suppositories being administered. Ukrainians negated the big drone attack on Kherson the other day too, whole lot of hardware sent and not a lot to show for it. *sad trombone* They put together a drone army that works in a year. Russia's been trying to do it since the 2010s and still has no where near the same advantages or abilities.

As if their feckless and miserable military performance wasn't embarrassing enough - I just heard Armenia is giving Ukraine Tochka-U ballistic missiles now.

Putin's performance in war reminds me of Trump's performance in court. Propaganda doesn't negate the fact these little bitches are losers on borrowed time.

Are you claiming the Czech President is Russian propaganda?
The message he shared should be EXACTLY the facts that you should already know. The truths that need to be shouted, not merely spoken, for us to demand more. To demand better of ourselves in an actual effort to stop Russia, rather than our meek and faltering support for Ukraine. Putin's plan is for us to abandon Ukraine, and god damn if that isn't actually happening.

Who are you to say it isn't?

Wiping out the Soviet pig machine? That Soviet pig machine is about to absorb AT LEAST 25% of Ukraine’s territory, but somehow you’re turning that into a ‘WIN’, and all it costs was $100 billion of your tax dollars.

Cope harder my man.

Why do you keep lying about what it's costing the US? A very large percentage of that money is in old equipment that was just sitting around. If anything giving that stuff to Ukraine saves money as we no longer have to pay to maintain something we were going to throw out anyway. Always important to remember that Russia is getting trashed by western castoffs.

And yes, even if Ukraine loses some territory that's a win for them as Russia's obvious goal at the start was to topple Zelensky and install a puppet government. Remember that giant convoy of Russian vehicles that got demolished by Ukraine until they went running back over the border?

This is one of the reasons you come across as a child. Let's forget for a moment your very pronounced difficulties with history and critical thinking - you can't even come up with your own dismissals.

The copium addict the of thread projects away, because that and punching himself in the face is all he has.

Sad. But at least it's pathetic too. Imagine being that unoriginal!

Here's what I'll say - you need to stop this anxiety riddled shitting of your pants you keep doing here. We've been over this.

"Meek and faltering" haha It's the repugs, something everyone saw coming too. And?

*sigh* Yes, soooo meek

Heavy fighting outside the village of Krynky today sounds like.

"Fighting has continued around the village of Krynky where Ukrainian marines maintain a bridgehead on the east bank of the Dnipro River," the MoD said in its latest intelligence update. "The ground fighting has been characterised by confused, dismounted infantry combat and artillery exchanges in complex, wooded terrain."

It said Ukraine had successfully used a number of drones to attack Russian forces, with Moscow responding with strikes from its air force.

"The fighting around Krynky is on a smaller scale than some major battles of the war but will be considered highly unfortunate by Russian leaders," it said, adding Moscow's troops had given up positions to the west of the river last year in the hopes of holding them from progressing across the river - something it appears to have failed at doing thus far.

AFU are across the river and fortified in at least 4 zones IIRC, with armored vehicles across and fighting now too. Orcs are catching fire from both sides of the river. Oh look, Putin wants to negotiate. How about that.

"His remarks have, unsurprisingly, not gone down too well with Kyiv. Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the office of the Ukrainian president, said the comments were merely "another distortion of reality" by the Russian president. "Murderers who commit a premeditated crime in cold blood, in the middle of it do not think how to stop the crime," he wrote on X.

Mr Podolyak said the only "workable solution" to end the war was for Russia to immediately withdraw all of its troops from Ukrainian territory.
"Afterwards, sit down to discuss payments, compensation, and other legal consequences of the war," he said.

If they can capture and maintain a bridgehead where they can move armor and other equipment across this would be the most significant military development in a long time. It would be hugely damaging to Russia.

If only OUR OWN mainstream press fully appreciates and reports it. They never seem to highlight how much of our aid is disused equipment we no longer want, nor do they seem to understand WHY the UKs haven't just run over 4 level entrenched Russian positions. It makes me want to weep.

That's what the ISW said like a week ago, though I believe it's just IFVs and MRAPS, not tanks. Yet. But yeah, if you don't repel a landing immediately, you risk giving the opposing side some elbow room and next thing you know your defenses are being dismantled or bypassed, and here comes their reinforcement.

Ukrainians continue to fawn over the Bradley I see, which pleases me. Nice to see our much maligned vehicle having it's time in the limelight, making believers (and fertilizer) out of the Russians.

So here's a recruiting problem Russia has but Ukraine doesn't...

Personally I think it's adorable that Putin is worried about the effect his mobiki harvest will have on him before an "election."

I do feel bad for the non fascist Russian women though, who had their husbands, brothers and sons taken from them for nothing but an imperial wet dream. The ones who consider children as expendable fodder for gangsters can of course get fucked though.
