So here's a recruiting problem Russia has but Ukraine doesn't...

Personally I think it's adorable that Putin is worried about the effect his mobiki harvest will have on him before an "election."

I do feel bad for the non fascist Russian women though, who had their husbands, brothers and sons taken from them for nothing but an imperial wet dream. The ones who consider children as expendable fodder for gangsters can of course get fucked though.
A good read. I found this bit interesting;

In early September, a Telegram channel with around 400 subscribers called The Way Home, published instructions for people to write to elected politicians in order to ask for the rotation of their sons or husbands.

The channel has since exploded in popularity. On November 12, it published a manifesto in which it called for "complete demobilization, political stability, and a decent life for every citizen of Russia."

It's unclear who is behind the channel; organizers could not be reached for comment.

Find it hard to believe that the FSB don't know who would be behind the channel. Possible its a condoned outlet of frustration, but the political intent behind "complete demobilization, political stability, and a decent life for every citizen of Russia." manifesto makes it hard to believe that the FSB has anything to do with this channel. Strange stuff.

Here's what I'll say - you need to stop this anxiety riddled shitting of your pants you keep doing here. We've been over this.
"Meek and faltering" haha It's the repugs, something everyone saw coming too. And?
*sigh* Yes, soooo meek
As a consequence of the 2022 election, our support for Ukraine is ending, and you just want to laugh it off?

Biden still has $5B in untapped drawdown authority to work with. Unfortunately for the Russians if he doesn't get new money he's going to turn to quite effective older systems that have low book value. This likely means a shitload of cluster munitions which is not good news for the "meat assault" tactics.

The Senate wants to move the supplemental but the border/asylum stuff needs to be negotiated. Biden is probably willing to cede some ground in this area out of his own political self interest.

Word seems to be that Russia made no sales at the Dubai Air Show. Seems existing customers can't get parts for their fleets and there are uh concerns about Russia actually making delivery on contracts amongst potential buyers.

With sanctions in place, why were they allowed to be there at all?

It isn't, and you were posting like an unstable drama queen when repugs and Gaza weren't issues. It's a cycle with you, a fixation, and well documented in this very thread.

Get a grip. Relax, don't listen to the outrage vendors and try to leave the doom and gloom addictions to idiots like gotheuvos. If you can't, then just stop replying to my posts. Thanks.

A good interview on why Ukraine is pushing on the left bank;

Thomas talks about the rail link in Dzhankoi in Crimea. Not that far if the Russian forces are light and not well prepared.

Basically the Ukrainians are waiting for F16's. These will enable them to control the airspace and protect any pontoon deployment. Ofcause a good freeze might enable heavy gear to go across the river without pontoons. It would be interesting to track temps in the Kherson region over the winter.

Edit: maybe the ice bridge is a no go...

Some interesting comments at the link too.

The Russian election in March would become very interesting if Ukraine could take Dzhankoi before then.

They're doing absolutely everything they can to avoid another mass mobilization because the Kremlin is well aware of actual public opinion. It's possible Putin will feel more comfortable about one after the "election" but not certain.

Putin is paranoid atm. A Mother's of Soldiers group have been denied permission for a demonstration in 3 different cities. Putin doesn't want connections between the regions nor a flame to spark. And these mothers just wanted a rotation for their loved ones. Apparently some of these sons/husband have managed to survive for 14 months in the hellscape of Ukraine. No rest. No rotation. Putin have told the Governors in the regions to absolutely make sure that payments to soldiers are being paid, and that death payments are being made to widows. Again, to stop any sparks to start getting hold due to corruption issues.

The war and the death of sons and husbands is a real domestic issue.

If Russia loses Crimea (or Ukraine controls Dzhankoi) before the election, then its wide open as to what could occur... everything from Putin resigning, to election being postponed because Russia finally officially declares war on Ukraine.

Anything can happen. This is why I said it would be 'interesting'.

Is that all you got, shitting on this thread to fixate on me while you offer nothing of substance on the issue at hand?
We have both shorted and delayed Ukraine this entire war, and it is only poised to get worse.

Democrats remain vexed by the House as Ukraine funding hits crisis point
“I don’t know that Ukraine can survive until February of 2024,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said. “My sense is they start to run short on ammunition in the next several weeks.”

The pushback on funding Ukraine has far less to do with Ukraine than it does with using that funding as a wedge to extract concession from the White House on other Republican 'priorities'. It's aggravating, but this is how the political sausage is made. I will be extremely disappointed if there is no movement on the current military assistance funding bill (which will now have to include a bunch of other crap).

The UA really needs to know ASAP what sort of military aid they will have to plan for their next offensive. And they certainly need better weapons with longer ranges, more air power and more A/D to offset Russia's superior numbers and to further reduce risks to important assets.

Probably not something you’re seriously kicking around without thinking you’re likely going to have to give up a big chunk of occupied southern Ukraine.

Seriously, things must be worse for them than I thought. They get that the Kerch is on borrowed time at least. If it was really deep I can see, but then we're talking about a project that would take years maybe a decade to finish, and then it's a finished product that could likely be taken out with the right car/truck bomb. GUR has done it before. Maybe it would be a Chinese gig completely to avoid Russian production times? Tofu dreg tunnel does have a certain ring to it...hmmm

I can see the US giving some DARPA created wonder weapon to Ukraine for it too. Maybe a tunneling drone, maybe some kind of underwater bunker-buster ordinance. Who knows. What I do know is if Putin and Xi want to throw massive resources into that kind of (crack)pipe dream, I am super into it. The more failed ventures of Crimean retention Putin racks up, the better. He stitched his pride to that place a long time ago, now he gets to go down with it.

Hello guys!
I see you're still living in your information cocoon. I recommend you to visit Ukrainian groups and chats sometimes, you would look at it all differently. But instead you eat what is shoveled to you by propagandists and Influencers.

What you can see in these groups now:
Insider UA (1,2 mil of subscribers)
A new comprehensive mobilization plan will appear next week - Zelenskyy
The president wants people to understand the full plan of action. So that people understand where they will end up: "From point A to point B, not just point A."

Comments:
Have you thought about stopping fucking with money, Mr. President? Or make it so that it is not fucked with
Fuck the faggots yourself😂
Zelja only after you !
What, are you going to take students to the front, you fiends?
What the fuck to fight with???? (answer from another person "with your dick!")
"I like that they pretend that people are afraid of mobilization. And people are afraid of their government abandoning them and their families after the war. Because they're spending money on Christmas trees while we're spending money on everything else."
"Don't you touch the kids!"
"Whoever screamed the most for the 91 borders goes, would that be fair?"
"Everybody understands that. Point A - a bus on the street, where four 2-by-2 meter bulls drag you in. Point B is a foxhole with no ammo or food."
Point A is the front, point B is the cemetery. It's pretty self-explanatory
I agree to honestly be in the same trench with Yermak, I will go despite my health. (Yermak - head of the president's office)
And why didn't he mobilize when the calls came, and now he's forcing people to 🤔 How many more guys have to die?
Negotiation, come on
The greatest Zeneralimus ordered to draft anyone
Point A - the 95th block of the whole neighborhood for starters, otherwise you don't have the moral right to open your mouth. (95th block - is is Zelensky's team that created his comedy TV show)
"Deputies and their children! They have all their assistants on the payroll, and there are a lot of them....
And they are raking boys from villages..."
Is kidnapping people on the streets part of a comprehensive plan?
You're already fucked up beyond belief, man.

Just enter, and check, it is all real and backed by a lot of likes comments. Check the comments in the closest posts, the mood is pretty same.

The most vicious, mocking and unrelenting Ukrainian channel. Only 125k of subscribers, but they are true internet warriors, they enjoy the videos of death of Russian soldiers and having a contest to see who can come up with the funniest comment. Some subscribers have swastikas, SS signs and other funny symbols on their avatars. Often they duplicate the text in English for their foreign fans. One of the amusements in the comments of the group is to identify a Russian visitor, ridicule and insult him, and ban after, often with freindly-fire.
And now even in a community as reckless as this, a heavy skepticism has settled in. Joyful news is viewed with suspicion. The blow to the orcs is too small. The result is not what is wanted. Officials are not trustworthy. The promises of last year are remembered. Suddenly they realize that the officials who deceive them are Jews!
Orcs have huge incomes, sanctions doesn't work, but theirs factories work, they produce missiles, drones, even North Korea gives them more at once than all allies of Ukraine! Where is our production, why are we waiting for handouts? - they ask.

Check it, check any bigger one Ukraine speaking community and you will find the same mood.
And what you won't find - is any fear of Putin's genocide. Anyone know it's bullshit to impress foreign donators. Yeah, he'll take the land and drag them into the Soviet swamp. Yes, deprive them of their independence. But he's not likely to ban the language. Nowhere do you find that fear. But there is a lot of fear that Zelensky will send all the youth to death, destroy any future of the country, and afterwards there still will be defeat and loss of everything.

And who do you think they will blame for the defeat?
1. Their corrupt government, who pursued an unprofitable policy of conflict with Russia for American money, led to a war they could not win because they were unscrupulous thieves.
2. The cynical foreign bastards who bought them for a handful of coins and screwed them over for years
3. Putin, the Muscovites, who have always been a contagion, but a familiar one, with whom it is clear how to live, on whom you can make money, whom you can deceive and pursue your interests

You will end up being the main culprit for Ukraine. Not Putin, who will pay pensions to disabled Ukrainian men, provide free education to their children and rebuild cities. But those scumbags who wanted to harm Russia with their hands. Propaganda will quote Lindsey Graham and similar figures to them many times and they will fight against the US one day if necessary.

I respect the USA for the development of science, for the James Webb telescope (which costs as much as an aircraft carrier), for the opportunities for people like Ilon Musk, for the contribution to the development of mankind, but your country in trying to keep the world hegemony and the role of the dollar, has done terrible things, lost all moral authority and continue to plunge the world into chaos. All of this will come back to you in a big way, rest assured

Putin is the one who invaded Ukraine. No one else.

It’s funny how hard people work to convince themselves that literally anyone else is to blame for an invasion except for the person doing the invading.

Surely the same people here think that Iraq and Russia were to blame for the US invasion there, right?
