Russia as we know it is finished. There is no coming back from this. It's a matter if the rest of the world goes along with it.
That was probably Kadyrov's men. Absolutely devastating losses there.Apparently this was a good buy—completely obliterated Russian forces in Kharkiv, Irpin and Bucha. Can be launched from city streets—no runways needed.

Reddit has been getting more and more videos of huge ATM lines and I haven't seen a repeat location yet
Maybe there will be a "new world order." We need new paradigms. Colonialism has to be buried.Russia as we know it is finished. There is no coming back from this. It's a matter if the rest of the world goes along with it.
Even the oligarchs calling for end to war, don't dare directly criticize Putin's actions in so doing. Fridman grew up in Ukraine, has family in Ukraine, and strongest he can object to Putin is calling for end to conflict "as a tragedy to both [Ukrainian and Russian] peoples" while including disclaimer that he does not make political statements.
I would love to see the troops walk in and surrender themselves and their equipment to the Ukranians, even civilians. Seeing some of the interactions with the civilians and the Russian troops gives me some glimmer of hope.Strikes me that the smart thing to do in that situation is to drop your rifle, raise your hands and be taken prisoner. They were tricked into fighting.

I have to figure they don't dare come out against him publicly but behind the scenes is where they have power. In reality I figure Putin is just one of many oligarchs, he's just the front man, kind of like the CEO is the front man for the board of directors. If they lose faith in him, they aren't going to go on record saying that. The change will be made behind closed doors.Even the oligarchs calling for end to war, don't dare directly criticize Putin's actions in so doing. Those looking for oligarchs to block Putin have the power balance in Russia badly misjudged.
I just hope that they don't do something desperate like suddenly start thinking that Finnish border is too close to Saint Petersburg...Russia as we know it is finished. There is no coming back from this. It's a matter if the rest of the world goes along with it.
Yeah so about that. He did not pack it up and leave, he's actually denying any kind of setback despite all the footage of charred vehicles and remains.
"As of today, as of this minute, we do not have one single casualty, or wounded, not a single man has even had a runny nose," Kadyrov said
Germany will take defense seriously from now on:
i remember those days where Mao Zedong and his cadre branded the western democracies as "Arrogant Decadent Imperialist Hegemonistic Thugs" and pretty much scoffed at that. Looking back at those times, it seems to be an underlayment of the present day Chinese communists who have resisted the many western influences that are obvious in the present day Chinese culture.
Yeah it's embarrassing when you see Ukraine's president out there staring down hundreds of Russian tanks and refusing to be evacuated and then you compare it to Tom Cotton who is too scared to criticize Trump in even the smallest way.So Chuck Todd interviewed Senator Tom Cotton today on Meet the Press and Cotton refused to condemn the praise that Trump had lavished on Putin in the last few days. With the exceptions of Romney and Christie, Trump has successfully castrated the entire GOP. The GOP should be just like Russia - something that will cease to exist sooner than later. You would think that an event like the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has been condemned worldwide with few exceptions, would convince at least a few in the GOP that Trump is no longer the leader of the Party and deserves the scorn with which the rest of the world sees Trump. RIP GOP. SMH
