EU is warming up the fiscal Death Star against Hungary if Orban obstructs the Ukraine fund at the next meeting.

That's what a unified front should look like and that's also sending a very clear message to Puti that the only way he can get around that unity is to help his stooge Trump win in '24 and even that seems to be a losing long shot.

How odd it is that the Republicans think they're patriots for defending two of our nation's most dangerous enemies, especially when I see a bunch of 'um shouting "USA! USA! USA!" I have to shake my head and wonder how they can't/refuse to see how hypocritical and duped they are from being that way.

Yes, we have the weaponry in inventory that was purposely designed during the Cold War for just this kind of situation. All we have to do is give it to the Ukrainians. It wouldn't even be expensive.

It's actually saving us real world $$$ as we won't have to decommission it. We're letting Ukraine do that for us, with the added benefit of severely weakening the country they were originally intended to be used against anyway.

Hard to win a war when the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and arms firms steal $40 million that were for 100K mortars.

Certainly not good, but a drop in the bucket when compared to the theft and corruption the Russian military has experienced. Shoigu has stolen more than that just for himself and he's still trying to win a war.

Important to note, the people responsible for this were caught and will be made into examples of what happens when you sell out your country. Zelenskyy ain't fuckin around, just like with the white ticket abuse. Putin runs a mafia style government; graft is an accepted occupational hazard for them which is why Shoigu is still alive and employed.

I'd say having shitty repugs as "allies" is more of a problem, being so subservient to a Russian asset as they are. Those criminals have a much larger impact on Ukraine's ability to fight for it's survival, unfortunately.

also important to remember than whenever you see this corruption and theft in all of the former satellite states, it's always Russians, and the state being blamed for it.

You have to lance that cancer that is the "russian" person in these countries and never let them anywhere near any kind of authority.

KILL HIM ... PULL THE TRIGGER PULL PULL PULL. DO IT DO IT DO IT.

If that doesnt make him lose the next election then Hungary is so far removed from democracy anyway that it's a lost cause this cycle. Let em rot as a Soviet satellite state.

I say let him vote yes to the Ukraine funding and then pull the trigger anyway. Fuck that guy.

Forgive the sidebar, but that pic reminded me of how a couple of friends of mine were shoot'in the shit and sharing a doobie along this shallow trench line dug out around the base perimeter when this dud mortar round stuck itself in the lip of the trench about 5-10' away from them. As it was described to me after they reported the wayward round to the Top, they stood up and tippy-toed away away from it. Was scary funny and funnier still because there was no EOD around so there was all kinds of hilarious ways that was tried to get the thing to blow. Wep platoon's "designated" sniper put a couple of holes in it and that was the last thing done to it until the crazies showed up to blow it in place.

A decade of Russian social media cyber ops joyfully reiterated by Alex Jones, Fox News etc. The big lie that Putin was a deeply religious man (lololol!), antigay, a man's man, a strong man - resetting Russian culture as the last bastion of real conservative values. Now that it’s drilled into their brains - they can’t even see the truth of it after Putin wantonly attacked a harmless country on absurd grounds.

Damn kids! They borrow the SU-24, and still haven't come back. When they get back, they're going to be grounded for a whole month!

With its side by side seating, it doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to visualize a pair of star-crossed lovers finally being alone with each other, each wanting to join the mile high club in the worst, repeat...THE worst possible way.
