While I absolutely agree with you that more aid to Ukraine should have been sent months ago the US clearly planned to fight this war without going nuclear. We could destroy Russia's army with one arm tied behind our back.

Well the same would be true about nuclear weapons then. If we aren't going to destroy Russia conventionally we certainly aren't going to destroy them with nuclear weapons.

We should recognize that Russia represents a true threat to not just Ukraine but all of Europe. We should also recognize that the only reason the Russian army exists is because the US chooses to let it exist.

From my understanding those boats are small and carry capital ship killers, they're basically floating magazines.
