Armenia tells Russia to withdraw its border guards from the main airport in the country. Time for Armenia to join the real NATO and not the Russian version!.
CSTO is just like everything else in Russia. They saw NATO and wanted to make something like it out of pride. Because they are Russia though they made a shitty facsimile and it turns out when a CSTO member is invaded they do nothing, either out of indifference or because their military is a hollow shell of what people thought. It was only a matter of time. Armenia knows Russia is a paper bear better than anyone. Russia's word is worthless, as much with allies as adversaries.
I seriously doubt Turkey would allow it, even if Armenia qualified. Not a lot to offer the alliance military wise, they are no Finland or Sweden afterall. Erdogan and the Turks don't like Armenia, and they now get most of their NG from the Azeri, in addition to having a very close military relationship.
The best Armenia can hope for is to become a "security partner," which would still be pretty embarrassing for the paper bear.
Dang. Was looking for some of his old bits, and he just died yesterday!RIP.
Russia is ending their invasion that would be great news.
U.S. estimates put the number of Russian troops killed or wounded since the war started at around a staggering 350,000, according to American officials. Russia has also lost huge amounts of equipment; some 2,200 tanks out of 3,500 have been destroyed along with one-third of its armored vehicles, according to a congressional staff member who saw an intelligence assessment.
Absolutely staggering losses for Russia, all for Putin's imperial dreams of conquering his neighbor. It's like the Zapp Brannigan method of fighting a war - just send wave after wave of men and equipment until the enemy runs out of ammunition.

Pentagon officials are still giving advice on the military campaign they would like to see in 2024. Three U.S. military officials said in interviews that the United States wanted Ukraine to concentrate long-range strikes on “putting Crimea at risk,” a phrase that translates into attacking the Russian “land bridge” that traverses southern Ukraine and connects Russia to the Crimean Peninsula, which President Vladimir V. Putin seized in 2014.
Putting Crimea at risk seems like an incredibly good strategy because Russia will defend it, even in extremely unfavorable conditions.I literally said "what the fuck" at this part. The US has not supplied the requisite weaponry to make this happen. If we give Ukraine ATACMS, JASSM, and SLAM-ER in volume they would be more than happy to accommodate our desires.

Crimea might be a red line Russia expressed early on to the US, or at least the US assisting in taking Crimea. That would explain why Ukraine hasn't tried any hail mary's with existing NATO equipment on that bridge, just homebrew stuff.I literally said "what the fuck" at this part. You do not offer peace, only death.Peace deal coming?
It is a tremendous way to extract maximum losses from the Russians with a minimum amount of munitions. They will do totally irrational things to reinforce it.
That's a lot of Trump bucks diverted.Absolutely staggering losses for Russia, all for Putin's imperial dreams of conquering his neighbor. It's like the Zapp Brannigan method of fighting a war - just send wave after wave of men and equipment until the enemy runs out of ammunition.
