Yeah I was surprised as well. I'm pretty much indifferent when it comes to religious shit if not apprehensive but this pope seemed to largely have his head screwed on straight as much as one might hope for. I read either here or on a reddit thread that there were plans in place/being acted on from RU's black sea fleet to scuttle some of them to use as long range artillery since they were functionally useless as boats (and likely to get popped soon anyhow). I mean it's a short-term solution with a very expensive long-term prospect I guess. I'd be curious if they actually got anything useful out of it though.They beached it and then used it for CC?
