Are these things legit ABM defense? Probably classified.
Yes, system got a bad rap in the first Gulf War trying to intercept Scuds and has been aggressively improved ever since.

The caste system would suggest that India does not value life.Any chance india would declare war on Russia for forcing India citizen to fight in the meat wave ?
A real 'hypersonic missile' (as in, one defined as maneuverable at hypersonic speeds) pulls impressive g's. To be frank, the fact that Russia has the capability to reliably launch into orbit but can't manage it should tell you something about the materials sciences required.Everyone talks about hypersonic missles being so deadly due to their maneuverability...how many g those things hitting in a turn? It has to be huge...i imagine their turn radius is measured in hundred of miles.
Thats what i was curious about...what are the limits of the metallurgy? We use titanium alloy for centrifuge rotors and those stretch at up to 100,000 g...i know carbon fiber can hang up to half a million but thats not talking a whole ass missile.A real 'hypersonic missile' (as in, one defined as maneuverable at hypersonic speeds) pulls impressive g's. A fake 'hypersonic missile' (as in, one defined as capable of reaching but non-maneuverable at hypersonic speeds) is relatively easy, in fact both the US and USSR were capable of in what, the 50's? It's still a feat as of a half century ago, but it's less impressive now.
Not my forte, but I'd guess that missiles suffer less than 100k g's at max q (or whatever non-ballistics use for max-q). That said, the strain may be very high regardless since you're talking about a non-ideal shape (a tube) with dramatic lateral forces, a burning desire to go from where they are to where they aren't as fast as possible with as much axial movement as can fit within the mission's delta-v envelope, and likely very few control surfaces.Thats what i was curious about...what are the limits of the metallurgy? Speculation FSB agents were in the Theatre as it was getting hit by 4 terrorist. The oddity of these people all wearing the same blue shirt and jeans in the theatre as the agents that caught the terrorist in the forest running away.
and
Couldn’t tell you with absolute accuracy, but maybe because that concert hall is part of a much larger entertainment/shopping area referred to as Crocus City.
Oh yes, optimized for ABM since PAC-2. Cliffs: PAC-3 is rocking Ka band radar, is more maneuverable, does hit to kill (there is a small charge included 'to be sure' I believe) and has been physically the same for the last 20ish years or so. Software updates have happened, sure, but for comparison Zircon came out in 2021.
Sure was great to hear Putin rave about it like he did, how it had no analog in the world and couldn't be intercepted. Mach 8! Maneuverable! Cracks destroyers like a nut! Uh huh.
A sample of the buffet Russia gets if they fuck with NATO. I bet the CCP wasn't too happy to see this latest Russian defeat either. They're awfully proud of their hyper-sonic weapons as well.
Not a traditional false flag, in that the terrorists were almost certainly ISIS (or IS-K).False Flag Operation? Same FSB agent in concert hall seems to be 1 of the arresting officers of the terrorist in the forest less than 24 hrs later.
Also an interesting oddity about the venue:One interesting oddity, this Russian venue was built by a real estate tycoon (Aras Agalarov) with several ties to one Mr. Trump - a lesser known American con man.
My god, Trump is everywhere and into everything... LOL
You are so, so close to getting it.My god, Trump is everywhere and into everything... LOL
LoL should definitely write "Brought to you by Putin" on them.EU should purchase all 40 Greek F-16 Block 30s that they want to shed for Ukraine and use Russian money to do it.
