No thanks, I've read 5 pages and out of it there's about 2 posters that at least try to have an understanding of the situation, the rest is insults and raw arrogance.

I am curious about the strategic situation on the ground to see when the war will finally enter its final stage and where Russia will push. The shape of whatever will be left of Ukraine, as well as how close the Russians will be to Romania may have important effects. I think they'll keep away from Poland as much as possible, but the seaside is another affair. Whatever will be left in terms of industries or economy to Ukraine is also a component. Unless they take Kiev, but that doesn't seem to be on the menu. At least for now.

The war is already lost for the American Empire, all that matters now is what conditions will be set. That's all that's left of this sordid, last-extension-attempt of this Empire.

It's interesting to note the moment you showed up was the moment Ukraine is having a hard time of it fighting a war that Putin started along with the Republican controlled House of Representatives holding Ukraine's crucial aid package hostage for some meaningless partisan pandering. So where were you when Putin's three day special operation failed miserably and Ukraine had Putin's Pirates retreating and losing ground on an hourly basis? Why jump in only when it's to your advantage? Couldn't take the heat toward defending an invading army when Ukraine was humiliating Putin to no end? Will you stay in here and defend Putin if and when the Western democracies fully gear up toward giving the right amount of aid along with the Democrats forming up a unified gov't and going full tilt toward defending Ukraine's independence? Or are you going to vanish the moment things start going sideways for Russia again?

This was illustrated very clearly recently in the south pacific. A sovereign nation, an small Island nation, decided they had enough of the "USA", and decided China security was a better deal. They invited the Chinese in, full deal. There neighbors, who were all saying nasty things about the "US" for decades all watched while the Chinese came in, setup shop, and all that.

The funny thing is, the Chinese were not even subtle about it when they perverted the government, took over that islands security apparatus, and took permanent control. Chinese promises ended up being hollow, and their neighbors watched in horror and decided that perhaps old "Uncle Sam" was not such a horrible guy after all.


And that is why the rules based international order is not an empire. Nations are free to leave. Nations choose to stay on their own free will.

And that is why the "USA"* needs you @Mahboi, without you, everyone would leave the "empire". And then where would we be?

Agree with you at least partially. The only President in my lifetime that I don't consider corrupt was Carter. The problem with Democracy is that sociopathic narcissists out for their own power and wealth seem to reliably rise to the top. Carter appears to be the exception that proves the rule. Carter may have been corrupt as well, I just haven't seen evidence for it.

That being said, America has not yet reached the point where it is killing off their political opponents like Putin is. I think this makes our government less corrupt than Russias.

My information is that Zelensky is jailing political opponents and calling off elections. I think this makes Ukraine more corrupt than America. Also wikipedia sources indicate Ukraine has consistently been one of the most if not most corrupt nation in the world.

Your information is wrong and it's surprising you cling to it given both of those have been debunked several times. Very grasshopper-esque how you try to frame Zelenskyy as calling off elections, when he did no such thing. If you don't understand why elections aren't doable during an invasion of genocide (and that they have a law against it) your opinion sounds pretty worthless, more of a reheating of previously attempted Kremlin talking points.

Zelenskyy has had to address Russian influence, espionage and disruption operations in his country in a variety of ways. It sucks, but that's the nature of the beast here unfortunetly. Makes me chuckle when people who say little or nothing about Russian sham elections where opponents really are imprisoned and killed, try to give Ukraine shit over following their elections laws. Time to get over yourselves people, or leave the bad acting to Lady G. Fact is Zelenskyy enjoys overwhelming support in his country, and not at the barrel of a gun. There is no appettite among Ukrainians to change a law so they can have a partial election and risk voters lives doing it.

Personally I think Americans should hold off on pointing fingers over corruption until such time as we don't have Russian assets like Trump trying to run our country for special interests and their own wallets.

According to Raytheon they can manufacture 12 complete Patriot fire units a year. PAC-2 missiles are in backlog but PAC-3 MSE capacity at least 500 per year growing to 650. More could likely be realized if we licensed Mitsubishi for ongoing production and the Euro PAC-2 line will open in a couple years.

The U.S is such a non-empire that it only has bases across every continent, dominant political and economic influence over only 4 of them, and its currency is only the global reserve currency.
