Democracies abiding by agreements and authoritarians wiping their asses with them always seems to be a non issue with some people, I've never understood it. More surprising to me is how they still don't get that the US doing nothing for Ukraine will ensure this becomes an American fight in Europe. I'm so thankful the Biden administration and the Pentagon aren't as myopic or unconcerned with American lives.

If you told somebody from the 80s that you could kill practically the entire Soviet land army because it will just slowly march itself into a meat grinder in Ukraine and that you could accomplish it for the fraction of the US yearly defense spend they would look at you like you're a crazy person for not taking the deal.
