Heh - don't know mate.

A tinfoil thought occurred to me... Budanov have said that there is a Russian General in the field of Ukraine that is anti-Putin. What if Ukraine initiated the Kursk operation as a way to have significant Russian forces move into Russia under the control of this General? Who would then proceed to follow the main two highways from Kursk to Moscow...

Just a tinfoil thought
I'm donning my exquisitely crafted Reynolds Chapeau in support of your lovely, lovely thought. I can FEEL the rays!

Considering how Putin is just as paranoid as any oligarch would be about their personal safety issues, it'd be really difficult to pry him out of whatever nuke proof bunker he's always within ten steps, a bounce and a dive from. But yeah, wouldn't that be nice. I'm thinking a general draft of all of those spoiled brats living off of their apparatchik parents in the cities would be a great time to kick-off a Russian style coup against Putie.

all you need to do is march on the Kremlin and all of the Putin news outlets, take them over, and call on Russians to stand up or stay away from what is happening. Demand Putin confront them at the capital that they now control. Execute him on camera (it's the Russian way, and the only thing they understand).

Sounds easy; why don't you try....

This is all they need. Once you control the camera's and the antenna's, Putin's Reality gets wiped, and a new one gets imposed.

I have often wondered what would happen if Dear Leader of North Korea and some of his closest generals were offered, say, $20 billion for his country with safe passage to China. I think he would go for it. Then again maybe he already worth more than $20 billion and maybe he likes being feared. I would have thought it would be exhausting.

I think this was already reported but at some point the EU needs to draw a red line and say this is just not acceptable and declare war on Russia:

In the past couple of years Russia has gotten away with blowing up warehouses; poisoning people (including innocent by standers); assignations of numerous people and when caught red handed they get a slap on the wrist. Just how far can they go before it is too far?

I wish we could have seen the expressions of the Russians who tried to shoot these guys up.

This is why the Ukrainians are in love with MRAPs. Try that in a Chinese golf cart.
I stumbled across this video last night. The MRAP is the toughest thing I have seen. This is a must watch video. It shows how some countries value their soldiers by putting them in the best equipment available. It's amazing how this vehicle survived the violent explosions and kept on going. Kudos to the brave soldiers sent on that dangerous mission.

Right? All MRAPs are good, but I think the MaxxPro really stands out. When it comes to shrugging off mines (mulitple mines often) it doesn't get much better. It might be the Ukrainian's favorite. The Russians certainly went mine crazy last year, AFU probably knows what they are talking about.

The only real drawback to the MaxxPro is having to stick to the roads. All that protection does fuck all if you have to abandon it and attack on foot, which has happened at least once afaik, taking Novodarivka.

I thought the last one disabled the vehicle but it kept on going. The explosions were brutal. I'm used to watching drones drop grenades with no sound.

Does anyone what the explosions were from? Were they mines, drones, mortars or artillery?

Just remember Russian govt don't care about their soldiers so much of their 'modern' vehicles provide luke warm protection; and of course not much of the modern stuff is left and the older stuff is worse.

I guess what this war is showing is how the west value human lives vs the east; and we also see that a lot in how Ukraine is treating its soliders vs Russia.

I know i'm drawing a bigger picture but remember when Russia attack Ukraine Zelenskyy stayed; and we constrast this with (for example) afghanistan where not only the president fled but multiple soliders in interviews said the govt valued the american EQUIPMENT but didn't give a damn about the soliders (i.e., they treated the soliders as expendable as long as the equipment was saved). It was really eye opening and explains a lot why things unfolded so differently there.

I'm not saying that Ukraine has done everythign correctly or every decision that Zelenskyy has made has been good but he showed what a decent leader can do when the odds (at least initially) are totally stacked against you.

Ukraine has balls of steel man... They're effectively forcing the hand... Either you nuke up or shut the fuck up Mr Putin.
Worst case Ukraine takes a tactical sun and then Russia dies.
Best case Putin freezes and the west relaxes weapons constrictions cause "what red line"?

This should have been done day one. Fuck that guy lets go.
Takes note: Still no nukes. Red line looking purple.

The Ukranians have conducted themselves well, all things considered.

Certainly put the Israelis to shame, with their sham war on terror against civilians.

Yea - i support the right for a jewish state but not what Israel has done to gaza; and you have to remember israel has treated them like shit for at least a decade. Jewish settlers are frequently allowed to steal land and kill palestinian with impunity; even Israel laws for dealing with settlers vs Palestinain in such cases are different. So no I do not support what Israel is doing and that is not being anti-semitism; my lack of support is not due to their being jewish but because of how they are conducting themselves. You know Israel could have had the entire world support after hamas raid in october and they just threw all that good will away.
