They're the largest country by land area already, with a smaller GDP than Italy. I have doubts that a little more land will suddenly make a big difference.
I bet Italians have more combined boner power than the combined inebriated thrust force of entire Russia (women included!).

Women included coz sometimes they have to do the thrusting coz the guy is too drunk to do anything

Listening to India's propaganda on Ukraine coz some guy has it on in the office:

"Zelensky has consolidated power and declared martial law in the entirety of Ukraine!"

And all kinds of other crap giving the impression that Ukraine is worse than Russia and waging a war only so Zelensky can remain a dictator.

Modi must really envy Putin's hairless balls.

Physically acquiring a direct land route / border with Transnistria, Slovakia, and Hungary. Allies with which to expand their military campaign. To drive a wedge into the heart of EU / NATO.
At the onset, Russia probably hoped to capture at least 30 million more people in Ukraine alone. Slaves / meat for the grinder.
And you cannot pretend that having control over more land is a bad thing. Ukraine's food supplies to the world market are no joke. Russia wants to control those, to control more people.
Ukraine has a lot of the brains that Russia lacked, and lacks a lot more since the invasion due to the fleeing. If Russia could assimilate Ukraine the resources gained are not just those of the land, they are those of the populace.

I would argue that this is the greatest threat to the world and the world must unite as one to block them from all sides. Even China should turn against Russia because what the Russians could do to the Chinese, if they could, would be enough nightmare for the Chinese to haunt them till death.

Occasionally I come across reports of surveys from Russia showing strong support for the SMO. But when the actually rubber meets the road, it seems support is clearly lacking...

Declaring martial law is a pretty common thing to do when you’re invaded.

Not that I expect better from Modi but it’s still galling to see people blame the victim for another country invading them. It was bullshit when the US did it and it’s bullshit now. At least plenty of people in the US had the dignity and self respect to call it out when we did it.

This... BRICS, non-aligned movement... has a rather large portion of the human population.
Does their endorsement of this genocidal invasion bother you as much as it bothers me?

They seized control of the Red Sea and sink our ships.
And we do not counter with our own blockades.
It seems we are weak to not strike back. They are already making the first moves.

BRICS as an organization has even less real world utility than the CTSO and that is saying something. It is not some hyper capable entity.

They should have all the Patriots they need.

Once you get past a certain number of systems the issue becomes interceptor sustainment. Ukraine probably needs at least 10 total systems and they have 5-6 now plus a hybrid Patriot/S-300. They also operate one or perhaps two SAMP/Ts.

The defensive crouch we've forced the Ukrainians into is a problem because they have largely drained their sizable supply of ex-soviet interceptors while not giving/allowing them the means to take out the various launchers that fire on the country.

Blockade who?
Yeah, I swung a little wide there.
Primarily Russia, due to the war. But it needs to grow to include all of their enablers.
I understand why we would be afraid of some of them. Our economic ties are huge.
But we are funding and allowing the buildup and the use of arms against us.

Having economic ties to our enemy, needs to be considered as BEING our enemy.
The global implications are earth shattering, but we need to stop funding and providing supplies to Russia.

Doesn't Turkey already have a blockade on Ruzzian military ships going through the Bosporous Strait?

Yes, they are refusing passage based on the Montreux Convention of 1936. If there is a war, warships from the waring states cannot use the strait. So technically Ukrainian naval ships would also be blocked. However Ukraine doesn't have a navy and the way things are going, Russia will not have a Navy in the Black Sea either.

Then you should vote for Trumps economic policy and a glorious return to the halcyon days of 1931.

My favorite part of that video is that it's not accompanied by terrible techno or metal. Anything, literally anything but that.

I think as part of our next aid package to Ukraine we should send over some better music.
I love the shit blowing up with techno going.
