No, it’s pretty pointless due to low selling price, low trophy value in eyes of women and very high transportation cost (Russia is big, and it costy to send something to distant Sibirean place). Also in case anyone is wondering @whyitso is lying about Russian wages. It's true that recent offers have been that high due to recruitment troubles but by most indications that salary is about 300% the normal Russian soldier salary. So if someone's making $1,000 per month stealing a washing machine that represents 15% of your monthly salary suddenly makes perfect sense.
I think it’s propaganda meme, created in 2014. At that time the Ukrainian soldiers was accused at washing machines stealing from “rich” towns in separatist Donbas region and sending to poor west Ukrainian villages. Now it reverted back for mocking propose.
However, today I saw a Sharij video with interviews from Izyum. Common people told Russian forces didn’t stole anything and helped them, but DPR mobilized men looted everything, including washing machines. It’s sound realistic, due to short distance and low income of mobs.
