Poland is very much going to want to message to the Kremlin that this is not ok. How exactly that message is delivered is a question.

My take is that the response should come from NATO rather than Poland alone. It would strengthen the alliance and make sure that the Russians get the message that Poland is a full NATO member and will be defended as such.

I do think a unified response is most likely. Could be something Russian goes boom or more likely the west supplies certain weapons it has been withholding from Kyiv.

Agreed. Something like this was bound to happen. Either through error on the battlefield or error in strategy.

Won't know which until Russia publicly addresses the missile strike.

They have to determine what happened first, which should be easy with the available radar data. Given the circumstances I expect a measured but firm response. That could change depending how Moscow addresses this however.

Also the defense group where nations pledge weapons for Ukraine is going to be held tomorrow. Likely some governments decide to step up lethal aid contributions again.
