For USA it's enough to slip under the radar a few dozen ATACMS and provide the exact coordonates of some desired targets...

The difference is the geographical area the reaper drone was flying in is an active war zone. Again, don’t want your drones shot down? Don’t fly them in war zones 8000 miles away.

Besides, it’s not like the US will retaliate anyway they’re too chickenshit to start something with Russia.

Why are you not on the front lines like that other Russian fuckwad from 500 pages back that no longer posts here?

What Mearsheimer said 8 years ago in this video is EXACTLY what is happening now.

What was kage69 saying about Ukraine/Russia conflict 8 years ago? Oh right, absolutely nothing.

Nope, and you expose yourself as a mindless tankie by suggesting so. Again. Guess you didn't notice my join date, or that there is a search function. Right to the bullshit as fact, just like your delusional idol Mearsheimer there. Wake up man, or is the pay decent?

Nothing I've posted in this forum has ever been refuted by you. Not even close, in fact you've proven several posters here correct with your boilerplate tankie outrage and propaganda. Let that sink into the bucket of shit you call a skull.

Interesting note in the BBC article about this:
'Several times before the collision the Su-27 fighter jets dumped fuel on the drone in a "reckless, environmentally unsound and unprofessional manner". '

Were they trying to dump fuel on it and light it with their afterburners? Or just playing TopGun and hotdogging?

Not gonna lie...neat trick, lol. I wasn't aware the pilots could dump small amounts of fuel like that from the fuel tanks.
It was probably just leaking.

Seems to be unclear if the Su-27 made it back. Possibly not.

They did.

“As a result of sharp maneuvers around 9:30am Moscow time, the MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle went into uncontrolled flight, lost altitude, and collided with the water surface. The Russian fighters did not use weapons, did not come into contact with the UAV, and returned safely to their home base,” the defense ministry said in a statement.

The guy piloting the drone likely panicked when he saw the Russian jets, shit his pants and lost control of the UAV.

Pretty sure it was mentioned, but wtf? He's sending women prisoners to the front now? The desperation is palpable.. like when Hitler sent out his youth brigades in the final stages of the war.

I can't believe you had the audacity to parrot the Russian government line and simply assume we'd accept it as the truth. Do you also think all those critics of Putin's regime just happened to fall out of windows or get radiation sickness, too?

We're far more inclined to believe the American version of events because, as imperfect as its government can be, it's far more likely to tell the truth.

I think if this happens again that the drone pilot should drive the drone into the jet intake of the Orc plane.

Ooops I got shook-up by the plane getting too close.
If this happens again the US should start patrols in that region to defend our assets in international waters. If Russia wants to escalate from there they do so at their own peril and nobody outside of maybe @Young Grasshopper has any illusions as to how that will turn out.

Now you're baiting the U.S.? I don't think that was part of Pooh Bear's instructions. You need to get your ego out of the game and follow directions.

Hey fuckwit, we've been flying drones in international airspace (with transponders on) since the fighting started. That's not an "active war zone".
