I was reading some on this. The problem that SpaceX is dealing with is there is a bunch of Starlink terminals in Ukraine that are not registered with Ukraine. These are terminals bought by volunteers and being paid for by someone outside of Ukraine and never transferred to Ukraine. Russia is getting around this by buying the terminals in the EU or other places the terminals are for sale and then using front person to pay for the service using euros. If SpaceX just blocked every terminal not registered with the UA this would impact those terminals bought by volunteers. Does SpaceX block all terminals not registered with the UA government?

Maybe they do unless there is another way technically we are not aware of. Their government can get anything they missed whitelisted after the fact. This is something that’s going to require a solution and not just for Ukraine.

WHITE/BLACK list known good/bad destinations/geo block russians IP's for any terminal in Ukraine. hardly fool proof but would add a significant complication.

I agree maybe they need to do this. Block all terminals not registered with the government which would then hopefully get those who haven't registered them to get them registered. However SpaceX could be hesitant because they could possibly impact Ukraine soldiers in the field. Hopefully there is discussions happening between SpaceX, DOD and the Ukraine government as to how best approach this problem.

Lockheed Martin on track to increase production of weapons systems

https://www.reuters.com/business/ae...crease-production-weapons-systems-2024-02-15/

Lockheed said it was on track to double production of its High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS). HIMARS production capacity has already increased from 48 per year to 60 per year and is on track to meet the 96 per year capacity by the end of 2024.
Production of Javelin, a shoulder-fired and platform-employed antitank missile system, increased to 2,400 per year. It expects to increase Javelin production capacity to 3,960 Javelins per year by late 2026
It will deliver more than 10,000 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (GMLRS) this year and aims to increase production capacity to 14,000 per year in 2025.
Additionally, Lockheed said it had advanced funds to increase air defense missile PAC-3 MSE annual production rates to 650 by 2027.

By all accounts this assault is an absolute bloodbath for the Russians who have lost somewhere north of 20K men and 700 armored vehicles in the going. Putin says the town has to be taken for when he is re-elected so they've thrown enormous resources into doing that.

If the Russians replicated this in every town from there to the Dnipro the Ukrainians would run out of places to put Russian corpses.

Don’t forget the part where the undermanned, inadequately trained, and understocked Ukrainian army are inflicting 13 to 1 equipment losses against the Russians. At least that’s what I heard on AT yesterday, so it must be true.

Lay off the copium pipe bud, you’ve had enough hits for today.

FYI Russia doesn't give a shit about those humans because Russia got what it wanted. It will gladly trade those lives for their win. I am pretty sure they were ready to sacrifice 2 or even 3 times as many lives no problem. If you want to know how Russia feels about this bloodbath, just look at who "liked" your post and what type of "like" they chose. They exactly represent Russian mentality.

He's just still butthurt about Russians not being able to fight like Americans, looks like dropped his Afghanistan fapping pretty quick again. Just like the other times. Yeah he tries to act like he isn't himself humiliated, but as we can see on Day 723 of the 3 Day War against Europe's poorest country it's clearly gnawing on him.

Russia's ineptitude, failure and cruelty must be hard to deal with when your an asslicker like that, as his constant crashing and burning can attest. Imagine always trying to rizz up Putin, while stuff like this is happening. When eight Ukrainians are sending hundreds of Russians to hell or on a brisk run, oh there's humiliation alright, it's just not where asshopper wants it.

He describes Russian forces suffering heavy losses when coming up against heavily fortified Ukrainian positions. He said that when a unit of 20 Russians assaulted a Ukrainian position, only "two or three come back." In one instance, he said, a handful of Ukrainian soldiers fended off hundreds of Russian troops.

"Yesterday Sam flew the plane and said that just eight people were sitting in the trench, just eight khohols. And our men go there by the hundreds, and they are not even capable of taking a fucking thing!" he said.

Any update on you heading over to support your invading heros cyka? They could use some of your positivity I'll wager, can't be fun sharing trenches with criminals and cannibalism-curious drunks, getting slaughtered by the hundreds everyday. Those guys need to hear from you how much they are winning, you can show them what it looks like afterall...

Ukrainian drone ace Balu hunts down and demilitarizes Russian drone ace Moisey

"Ukrainian forces have eliminated one of the most formidable Russian First-Person-View, or FPV, drone operators, known by the call sign "Moisey" or "Moses," in the bitter fighting around the Dnipro River, Forbes reports. Reports from various sources, including messages Moisey's wife posted, confirmed the successful operation against the feared drone ace. Moisey, widely regarded as one of Russia's top FPV operators, is credited with a large number of casualties and with sinking numerous Ukrainian boats in the Dnipro River.

His last communication, shared a few days ago, ominously stated, "It's hell in Krynky."

Nice job guys!

AFU has taken out a few of these kind of guys lately and the Russians have been moaning about it a lot.

Germans announce new military aid for Ukraine. This is in addition to what they have already pledged not a comprehensive listing.

Ukraine already has 18 RCH155s on order and may have received samples that are in use so this bumps them to at least 36.
Skynex must still be in low rate production since they seem to be able only to make 3ish complete systems a year.
I do wonder how they started making 122mm ammo or if they are buying it from somebody (I think maybe this).

Yup, drone operators are the new high value 'sniper in the open' targets.

I want to say AFU just wiped out a group of Russians who were training on drones recently too, had GMLRS dismiss class. Drone expertise is a risky thing to have for a Russian.
