It would still be a issue even if money was found because large segments of the Ukrainian population are either in parts of Ukraine occupied by Russia or are refugees living in other countries. Then you have the issue of Russia causing interference with the election.

Apparently Zelensky can make those problems go away as long as he gets his $100 million payout.

His words, not mine.

Okay, let’s discuss this.

You think Israel’s attack on Gaza is bad because it violates the UN charter. Correct?

Are you claiming Russia’s attack on Ukraine does not violate the UN charter? If not, how?

This garbage coming from a guy who lives in a country that illegally occupied and bombed the shit out of a country in Afghanistan for 20 years, and is CURRENTLY illegally occupying Syria for AT LEAST the past decade.

Remind me again when is the US going to get out of Syria again? They’re not wanted there by the Syrian people or government. Russia has to get out of Ukraine, but US can stay put in Syria?

You can’t make this stuff up!

😅

Ukraine attacking inside Russia again; what is the military purpose of this? Is this a CIA plan to try to destabilize Russia? Ukraine has to be very careful working with Americans, they are known to be bad allies. Once Ukraine is deemed as unworthy to support any longer, Americans will run and abandon Ukraine. Meanwhile, the European neighbors of Ukraine will still have to live with Ukraine so this can create problems.

Speaking of Syria, we can see the US is loving that "democracy and freedom" by illegally occupying Syria and stealing their oil. Keeping people impoverished, as it has done in Iraq and Afghanistan, and basically anywhere it goes to spread its "democracy and freedom."

Suffering humiliating defeat in Syria, the US has not left. It cannot remove Assad anymore so I guess all it can do is steal their oil.

Like I said, your IQ seems to drop with every post. Wow. On your way to MTG territory, with a smile on your face. Just, wow. You really posted that. haha

It's amazing how you post stuff like that and still expect to be taken seriously.

Btw, Li Keqiang sends his regards, moron.

In case you missed it, Ukraine is kind of busy right now dealing with a hostile invasion from Russia. Or did you forget that part?
FYI - What Zelensky said was they could if necessary make adjustments legally to allow a election under martial law. They just don't have the resources dealing with a Russia invasion. In addition you would have the issues of Russia trying to use the election to destabilize Ukraine further. You know there is a easy resolution to this? Russia stop the invasion and leave Ukraine.

Well, despite Ukraine and America doing their best to cause pain to Russian civilian targets, the Russians are now taking things more seriously. They are going to be employing more defensive assets, etc to counter Ukrainian and likely American attempts to destabilize Russia.

"Statements by the commander of the Air and Missile Defense Forces-Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Andrei Semenov, in an interview with Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper:

More than 3 thousand military personnel of the air and missile defense forces take on combat duties daily to ensure peaceful skies over Russia's cities.

To provide effective cover from UAV attacks, more than 50 Pantsir combat vehicles are deployed, as well as other means to combat small air targets, including portable air defense systems, various electronic warfare systems, and a large number of visual observation posts. .

Over the course of two years, the Air and Missile Defense Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed more than 30 thousand air attack weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including tactical aircraft, tactical missiles, UAVs and anti-radar missiles."

It is a good time right now if you are a Ukrainian MP and well connected: you can enjoy the luxury cars at the expense of Western taxpayers! What a deal.

"
Luxury cars are the new benchmark of distinction of the Ukrainian MP Hennadiy Vatsak: Will the Council of Europe and the EU censor this ex-waiter and ask him from where he got the money to own a Rolls-Royce Spectre?
Thanks to the West and the war in Ukraine, the new benchmark of distinction for Ukrainian MPs is to own a Rolls Royce or other luxury cars. This is what the Ukrainian MP Henndaiy Vatsak owns today. He is the proud owner of a Rolls Royce EV Spectre, whose price is around $422,700 or 16,258,555.25 Ukrainian Hryvni. The story of Vatsak and his new Rolls Royce is making the rounds on X. In one of the comments, it was stated that

“As Western Taxpayers are having their wallets emptied to support the most corrupt country in Europe to fight a US-led proxy war against Russia, Ukrainian MP’s, whose wages are also funded by Western Governments Aid Packages, are wafting in silent opulence along the streets of Kiev!”

t makes you wonder how a reasonably average MP can afford to own such an item, let alone have the conscience to drive around the streets of Kiev in it! He goes around Kiev in such a luxurious car when this city is supposed to be at war. It’s no wonder that the President of Ukraine, Zelansky, does not want to hold elections.

If one thinks that this Ukraine MP, Vatsak, has only this car in his garage, one will make the wrong assumption. Vatsak owns other luxurious cars, including RR SUV, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bentley & Mercedes. And before becoming a politician and a Ukrainian MP, he was a waiter!

And the European Union wants this Ukrainian government to become a member. This time, the European Commission and the European parliamentarians are not worried about the corruption and where all the money that Ukraine is getting to support Zelensky and his corrupt government is going. Luxury cars are the new benchmark of the Ukrainian MPs.

Here is Western taxpayer money, hard at work, buying luxury cars for Ukrainian officials.

Every defensive asset inside of Russia defending it is one less asset in Ukraine has to deal with near the front line inside of Ukraine.

Fair point but this won't change the battlefield conditions much at all, and it will only make Russian people more angry at Ukraine while also helping Putin. What Ukraine needs are large amounts of highly trained soldiers along with massive amounts of artillery and other things.

So any chance you are going to say that Russia’s action is as bad as Israel?

The point made is more important than spelling. If the source is reporting facts then it doesn't matter the ethnic background of that person.

In fun news that pertains to Russia's need for Iranian weapons, I saw that the SM-3 was used in combat for the first time, and successfully. OG DDG USS Arleigh Burke (51) and USS Carney (DDG-64) fired "four to seven" interceptors, and Iran lost some ballistic missiles which were on their way to Israel. Shahab-3s I would presume, though they have more that could do it.

Nice to see Aegis whoppin ass, echoes the success of Patriot missiles old enough to vote bringing down "unstoppable" Kinzhals and Zircons. Good times.

What are you basing your analysis of the accuracy of those “facts” on? How did you determine this source was reliable?

If you can deny those things then I would listen to it.

You can't even clearly see who is driving the car, how does that prove anything? All I see is a article claiming things with a video and a picture of somebody driving a expensive car. Reminds me of the false claims of Zelensky buying a yacht and when examined the documents offered as proof were fraudulent. Do you even stop to think that Russia plants these types of stories for a reason?

Russia is sure to lose in Ukraine, reckons a Chinese expert on Russia

Writes Feng Yujun, a professor at Peking University, a public university in Haidian, Beijing, China, affiliated with and funded by the Ministry of Education of China.

"Four main factors will influence the course of the war. The first is the level of resistance and national unity shown by Ukrainians, which has until now been extraordinary. The second is international support for Ukraine, which, though recently falling short of the country’s expectations, remains broad.

The third factor is the nature of modern warfare, a contest that turns on a combination of industrial might and command, control, communications and intelligence systems. One reason Russia has struggled in this war is that it is yet to recover from the dramatic deindustrialisation it suffered after the disintegration of the Soviet Union.

The final factor is information. When it comes to decision-making, Vladimir Putin is trapped in an information cocoon, thanks to his having been in power so long. The Russian president and his national-security team lack access to accurate intelligence. The system they operate lacks an efficient mechanism for correcting errors. Their Ukrainian counterparts are more flexible and effective.

In combination, these four factors make Russia’s eventual defeat inevitable. In time it will be forced to withdraw from all occupied Ukrainian territories, including Crimea. Its nuclear capability is no guarantee of success. Didn’t a nuclear-armed America withdraw from Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan?

Though the war has been hugely costly for Ukraine, the strength and unity of its resistance has shattered the myth that Russia is militarily invincible. Ukraine may yet rise from the ashes. When the war ends, it can look forward to the possibility of joining the European Union and NATO."

Ukraine doesn't target civilians, the Russian population knows who invaded who, and then there's that pesky issue of Russia already having a civil war problem. Putin is getting weaker, more in China's pocket by the day. So much so there is a rift in the Russian elite now, between the younger guys who see what's unfolding with China, and the older guys like Putin who dgaf because this 3 Day War to erase Ukraine as a country is their last hurrah.

What Russia needs is to go home, return the children that were sent off to Russia, beg for forgiveness then get serious about reparations and certain RuMOD people going to The Hague. Then at least they can rejoin the global community in some form, instead of being a pariah state known for murder, torture, rape and fake elections. I can't speak for Russians, but I'm confident a lot of them are primarily pissed over being kept under Putin's boot while he robs them. An independent judiciary, economic opportunity, law enforcement you don't have to constantly bribe, an end to the police state, indoor fucking plumbing; these are the things that matter to most Russians, not fever dreams of nazis being used to justify genocide.

Do you get it, or will you keep running from it, like you do with my scary Mexican hypothetical?

Thanks for the compliment but at least you're too shit scared to address the facts, no? Funny way to deny a purge. I've never been invited to give a talk to the CIA and my lecture circuit is much less impressive, full disclosure.

I'm just glad you know who he is, since your naive ass seems to know fuck all about what happens in China. Most countries, come to think of it. Zeihan gets a lot of things right, that's one of them actually. I wish you had a fraction of his intellect and credibility. Sometimes replying to your posts makes me feel like I'm kicking a disabled person using a walker.

But you know... for science. ✊
