The tactics used by the IAF around unfriendly countries is more or less the same as what USN and USAF pilots did during sorties against North Vietnam target, just with 5th gen bells, whistles and tweaks. Also lots of drones. The aircraft they rely on now for their most serious air power requirements is American. I guess when tactics and hardware both are imported I'm loathe to use the term innovation.
When I think Israeli innovation I think software, drones/loitering munitions, hostage rescue. IMI does that forge twisting of rifle barrels, that's pretty snazzy.
