Actually, for someone like me who spent a good part of his life as a fence-sitter, another part of it writing checks to the RNC once a year, and another part of his life trying to understand what was behind all of that clueless sleep-walking news-zombie consciousness, I don't think this is the death throes of the Democratic Party.

It's the death throe of a population indifferent to facts, logic and especially -- the Truth. They've only given themselves a life-extending shot of fantasy adrenalin after electing the most unbalanced and unqualified Murderer of the Truth in modern history.

You would expect all this confusion to show in higher levels of public violence. Either the emergence of spray-paint hate-crimes portends something, or it doesn't. I think it does. My hypothesis could be wrong. But let's see how it unfolds.

I create a thread specifically to point attention to the attack that Russia has laid upon the US government as a whole so that it can be set apart from the one which has degenerated into partisan attacks.

Not only has it quickly degenerated into the same thread, but I am being attacked as if it were my intent.

Not only that, but you have missed the main point entirely. My suspicion is that the intended consequence of these attacks was to amplify the effect of Americans fighting Americans.

Certainly nearly all news outlets are guilty of a fair bit of sensationalism, but this is a significant distinction between rabble rousing over Benghazi et al by the "MSM" and actual "fake news." There were numerous hearings about Benghazi, for example, and it's the media's job to report on congressional hearings, as worthless as they were. Simply, there's a distinction between reporting complete bullshit (outright lies) and reporting on real bullshit (misguided congressional hearings).
