No, Trump's tweet is not "very telling" about the lies and fake story, it's very telling that he just doesn't have thick enough skin and feels the need to answer on twitter anytime someone says or does something he feels is bad. Trump is openly warring with the intelligence community, and some in that community might be out to get him. The problem is that even if none of this is true, It's entirely possible that Trump has been involved in some form of shady shit over the past few decades, and he has given the intelligence community a huge incentive for digging it up. He's living in a huge glass house, and he picked a fight with some guys with enormous stones.

Picking a war with the intelligence community was both dumb and entirely avoidable. A grown up response to the Russian story would have been "It is unfortunate that a foreign entity has apparently involved itself in our election, and while there is no evidence that it affected the vote this time, I would like to assure the American people that we will make sure that this does not repeat in the future."

It's a shame we don't have a grown up for a president elect. His ego cannot stand to be laughed it, it will consume him, he'll spend all day every day tweeting his innocence and ridiculing his accusers.

Agreed -- the "morality" of this accusation (not laying guilt yet) isn't my problem. My problem is IF it is true that Russians have evidence of these acts and Trump is aware they have evidence and they are holding it over him... THAT is the problem. I don't care what the acts themselves actually are though admittedly if it is golden showers, that just adds to the comedy.
