Good job on their part.

Something I wonder though - it's likely that this thread will be entirely congratulatory, yet when the Israelis kill the terrorists, there are always protests.

There are protests when Russians kill Chechen "rebels," mostly from civil rights organizations in Europe. But I don't think there is any debate that this guy is not just a rebel or freedom fighter, he is definitely a terrorist.
Chechnya is a huge mess, but one has to remember that Russians did in fact leave it, only to have it used as a base against other Russian regions by people like Basayev, at which point they had to reinvade.

Wait... I think that reminds me of some other place... damn I can't remember the name... it sounds kinda like the Chechen capital Grozny... well - it begins with a "G" anyway...

LOL, sorry, couldn't help it.

Anyway, good for the Russians... and the rest of the world.

Very excellent news. There is no question that this is one guy who deserved a horrible death. The world is a better place without him.

Typically they are created by a government. While I would never condone action against civilians, this type of behavior extends well before this mans involvement in the chain of events.

Yes, but not just government. It takes monsters to create monsters and those monsters are everywhere. They express themselves in all aspects of culture.

Because man is unconscious of what he feels he is doomed by psychological laws to 1. become what he fears, 2 create what he fears.

The desire to kill innocents is unique to a rare few? Mix in radical Islamic indoctrination and ask them what god wants them to do. That, Moonbeam, is the widespread killing of anyone and didn't have to grow on a tree.

I'm not sure I've seen many people here protesting Israel's killing of "terrorists". Suicide bombers who target civilians and those who send them belong where the one-legged is now. The problem is that the ratio of terrorists to civilians/children killed by Israel is about 1:100. Israel is even more reckless in protecting civilians' lives than the US is in Iraq. The former Serbian rulers are now in the Hague for much lesser crimes than the "humane" and "democratic" Israeli government have perpetrated in the occupied territories. Of course, one shouldn't forget that the war criminal Sharon was best friends with the war criminal Milosevic.

Really? So whose ass did you pull the 1:100 number out of I wonder? Cause even the BBC wouldn't publish such made up crap.

P.S. What do you think the ratio of German or Japanese civilians killed versus the soldiers was?
