I have the QICK model in one of my builds; only great things to say about it and XFX. Paid almost $500 a year ago. Over built if such a thing is possible. Rarely hear it from 10ft away. Somehow still fits in a CoolerMaster nr200 mini-ITX case.

I have never tried overclocking beyond what the performance bios switch offers. Probably another 10% to be had.

🤯 What a beast, I'm so tempted to PM you but I hate re-shipping. Until this year, I didn't even know triple slot GPUs existed. And I'd need a beefier PSU than the one I've already ordered.

For the record, I'm upgrading from a 6800LE to the RX 6800 from the OP. Let that sink in for a bit LOL.
Actually my laptop has a GTX 1050; I guess that's not completely useless for older games.

Just so everyone knows, the pic of it on their website shows it take 2 8 pins, that incorrect it takes 3! :O I also didnt ever OC it or Mine with it, left all that bs alone as I never do it with any of my cards, so this thing might be beast in a half if you know how to oc it (not flirting)

A friend of my sons has been wanting a GPU upgrade since pre-Covid, he had a 1660S. I found a great 2060S for an incremental upgrade I basically traded them the card… but it didn’t provide the real kick he was looking for just got to that 8 GB/DX12U minimum.

I’d love to keep him on Nvidia but it’s just so ridiculous - a 4070 12GB is a minimum step up imo and they just aren’t made of money.

The 6800 16GB is a very solid card in my experience and for the games he plays - sims like City Skylines which just chew GPU ram - this is going to be the solution for now. He’s got a 12600K/mid range build and this should fit right in. Thanks for sharing .
