Question Ryzen 1700 Instability?

Got my PSU back Monday. I ran an OCCT PSU test.

The good: it ran 8 hour and 20 mins with (seemingly) no errors.
The bad: it claims it was "user cancelled" again, but I didn't touch the PC. Not sure if its picking some micro vibration in my mouse or if theres something else at fault.

I also ran Furmark for about 8 hours with no instability.

I'll see how gaming works out, but are there other tests you would recommend I run?

For my 2700X system, the only thing that really needed tested out for stability was the RAM settings, as I was using the The Stilts timings on a more budget kit.

Use Prime95 custom stress test and "By selecting 2048-4096 kB and unchecking the "Run FFTs in-place" checkbox, providing the maximum amount of RAM free in the system, the program tests the memory and the chipset. If the amount of memory to use option is set too high, then the system will start using the paging file and the test will not stress the memory. "

You would need to experiment with the amount of memory set to use in Prime95 as Windows needs a minimum amount free.

For the CPU stress testing for the under-volt, I ran the small and large FFTs for 24 hrs each.

This past weekend, an i7 2600k / RX 480 system was crashing, so I used Prime95 large FFT and Furmark run at the same time to narrow down the PSU overheating, that is a good test for the PSU.

I have a Ryzen 7 1700X on an Asrock X370 Taichi since December 2017, and I have both the segfault bug and the instability problem (crash on idle or low load) on both Windows and Linux. I filled the form for RMA'ing my CPU this week, but I haven’t got a reply yet. For many people, it seems that the instability happens only on Linux (there is a ton of information there), but for me it’s on Windows too. Using the BIOS setting "Power Supply Idle Control" > "Typical Current Idle" seems to make my computer stable (the segfault bug is a different issue though). My PSU is a Corsair RM650x, but people have had this issue with all kinds of PSUs.

Furthermore, from what I’ve read it seems that Ryzen 2000 CPUs for sure don’t have the segfault bug anymore, but the freezes are still a thing now, even some Ryzen laptops have them. However, there are probably more than one problem at the same time going on, so it’s difficult to tell
