So I've had the 3900X in my Best Buy Saved Cart for a while and watched as it went into and out of stock, mostly not even letting me attempt to check out with it and then error out the few times it did. Yesterday on an error out I noticed a popup dialogue that said to order the item in-store.

Additionally, there was a 10% off coupon for any regularly priced item sitting in my Offers section in my My Best Buy profile online.

Went into the store, had the 3900X ordered and attached the My Best Buy/rewards profile which automatically brought up said 10% coupon.

$449.99 and it already shipped today for arrival on Tuesday. I was also sent a 10% back in rewards coupon for using the Best Buy credit card, which stacked...

Anyways, YMMV but if you've got the coupon it's worth a shot. Hell, it's worth going to order in-store to get one at retail and not the price-gouge eBay prices.

Enjoy.

(OT rant)

That reminds me a lot of the ATI HD 4850 introduction. BestBuy got the cards (VisionTek brand) in a week before the official launch date (hard launch). And the Week before leading up to the launch, they ran a 25% off (*or was it $50 off? That's what it worked out to) special on VisionTek cards. Well, the trick was, to go into BestBuy, with the flyer listing the deal, ask if they had the HD4850 "in stock" (*"please check the back for me"), they would pull out the cards, and then take them to the front to pay, whip out the 25% off offer deal in the flyer, and pay for them.

I got four HD4850 cards for $150 ea., rather than $200 ea., (plus tax, at a couple of different B&M BB's). Was a glorious hot deal day.

It would have been a REALLY glorious hot deal, if I had then sat down and actually USED the cards, to mine Bitcoin (during the really early days), and acquired thousands of Bitcoin. (Which was possible, in those days, with those cards.) Oh, to have the benefit of hindsight.

I just let the cards sit in the boxes for two years, while I got the rest of my "gaming rigs", carefully picked out. I put two of those cards in a rig, for S&G, running Crossfire, just to watch the performance numbers.

Yeah, what a bad strategy.

(OT rant END)

Great deal, OP!
