Thanks for these last stats HB ,even if they were all zeroes ,which is odd considering that WUs were still going through upto about 1200 GMT

I'll do a S@H1 stats flashback thread latter
Btw HB I hope we will still see you about after this? ,you running S@H2?

Good Morning "TeAm Mates"! :sun:

---- (HB), you have to be the most dedicated of all.

Many of the newer folks may not know the history of our Seti@Home TeAm. Hellburner took over our as our leader after a turbulent upheaval that ended with our original founder, Vapor, being banned.

After the departure of our original founder, Hellburner stepped into the breach. He, over time, brought additional members into what could be considered loosely as a board of directors. Hellburner is the "Chairman of the Board".

I'd like to propose a toast to a great leader.

:wine: :wine: :wine: <clink> :wine: :wine: :wine:

Salute! Salute! Salute!

And maybe for the final time, I'd like to say, "Thanks for the morning coffee, Hellburner".

Thanks HB for all of your hard work!

Thanks Smoke, for the brief history lesson! Since I've only been around here for a little over a year now, I was one of the ones who were unaware of the "transition".

Finally, thanks to all TeAm-mates who've made this forum my favorite daily destination. I look forward to crunching many more projects over many more years with all of you!

Guess you don't look at the S@H2 TeAm page often, come and catch me you slacker

lol ,no I don't ,at least not until today

Wow! ,your doing well!:Q ,I guess you've been crunching it for sometime ? ,nice to be in the Top 30 again a?

Hmmm ,I think it'd take a lot of firepower to catch ya! ,well I could start by getting my friends switched over to S@H2 ,though my home rigs are running DPAD for now.

See you about

Oh & cheers :wine:
Look out for an old stats thread by you coming soon

Thanks Hellburner, for the stats. Today's numbers seem to spell "END" for Seti@Home - classic
over the big black screen of the galaxy. In the credits, not far from the beginning, your name will be - until the end of time :clock: - always present. :gift:

Oh, BTW, all above posters have clearly expressed my sentiment too.

Dr. Leonard McCoy (played by Deforest Kelly)
Speaking to
Captain James T Kirk of the Starship Enterprise (played by William Shatner):

"It's dead Jim"

(I think that was one of hte most often repeated phrases in the original 60's version of Star Trek)

SETI Classic has passed on! This project is no more! It has ceased
to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft
of life, 'e rests in peace! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off
the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run
down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!!

pardon my hack of one of my favorite skits.

And I echo the sentiments of all the other posters!

Thanks! HB!

Who said that was over? I say More, More, More!!!! in S@H2!

Though with the demise of SETIQ too mass dumps will be trickier ,I guess you could set the no of days higher.
