This game is LONG awaited and should be good. I think it was rewritten couple times. There was a leaked alpha few years ago and it was awesome. I could only imagine how good it is now.
When will they release the game?

Finally , saw this at E3 way back in 2004! Wha
really intrigued me was the post apocolypytic setting of the area near Chenobyl. This game is based on the book & movie By the same name. Plus,$30 is a great price! I plan on picking up a copy.

The game is not directly based on the movie nor the book. They devs just drew inspiration from both and decided to would be a good idea to build a game on.

PC Zone magazine in the uk reviewed it, and gave it 85%, think i'll wait for a demo first. c+c3 is out soon and i don't think i'll have time for any other games when that comes out

I'll wait. I only played the multiplayer beta on my 8800GTS. I really thought it would look better. I think HL2 and Prey look 1,000 times better. Perhaps the SP experience will make up for it. I'll have to read the reviews.
