s.t.a.l.k.e.r stuttering issues

I picked up s.t.a.l.k.e.r, the other day and it runs fine on my system except for the occasional stutter. Any ideas on what causes it? Currently running the game on a Q6600 rig with a 8800gts 320mb card. The game is great expect for the damn stuttering issues.

I'm sure you are refering to the occasional loading of new areas in the game. there is no way to get rid of it but you can certainly reduce it by getting more ram and defragging your hard drive.

Well you could be right. It'll even happen at times when changing weapons and just walking around. The system currently has 2gigs of ram but 320 vram on the card is kinda weak.
