Oldest PC I have that is in use is a p2-450, 128MB ram, 10GB hard drive.
It runs 24/7 and has an uptime of months at a time, only reset because I had to move it.
Running pfsense it acts as my router, firewall, content filter, and the power supply in the pc also powers my voip adapter and cable modem.

Even with 200+ torrent connections it doesn't reach 50% on the cpu usage.
Great use for an old pc.

haha..i still have one of those in a box at home, along with my trusty geforce 2 ultra, and a 386 laptop with an 80mb hard drive/monochrome lcd

I still use one of those. Its sitting in my server.

I installed extra ram by stacking another chip on top of the one already installed , then connected the pins with solder

Even better tape over the holes in an old Hank Williams Sr. cassette to save a game (Vic 20) then to have your father play it in the "hifi" and blow the tweeters out from the squeals when he expects to hear "Your Cheatin' Heart".

Brought back memories when I watched Radio Flyer. :Q

I remember putting in a floppy disk that said "VL-Bus Driver" i thought it was some sort of sim bus driver where you drive a bus around and pick people up etc... whatever it did it wrecked my installation of windows 3.1.
