First, if a 13 year old or a 70 year old puts a round through someones head (some OT members excepted), that person is dead.

It seems that Baghdad has so many against the coalition and few supporting it as far as we can see (although many in fear of saddam of course)....if we could not for sure that they were all against us and would die in the eventual invasion then this could be a solution, a cold but logical one....that would save lives in the overall scheme....

Doesn't matter if the oppositiong isn't even nearly as well armed as the coalition forces anymore... its close quater combat.
Thousands and thousands of small man teams staked out in civilian homes, undergroup... ANYWHERE.

We also had in place Afghan forces who did the fighting on the ground for us for the most part. They knew the terrain, the people, and were supported by the majority of Afghans who were sick of the Taliban. No such force exists in Iraq. This is our show and we have to deal with it by ourselves.

Agreed. People will be shooting from all directions and you will not know where the bullets are coming from. It will be bloody and it could be the time when the president's support begins to go sour when they see 50 soldiers a day dying.

2. We don't get shot for speaking our minds.
3. We don?t repress our own people.
4. We don?t obstruct international efforts to provide humanitarian relief.
5. We don?t take humanitarian relief and sell them to third world countries and use the money to buy weapons while 99% of our country dies of malnutrition and infections.
6. We don?t shoot or hang you if you don't pay for your bills or taxes on time.
7. Our minimum wage isn?t $.02 an hour.
8. We don?t take Salvation Army money to build monuments of our self.
9. We don?t poison the drinking water of the certain ethnic minorities.
10. We don?t use 10?s of millions of dollars a year providing medicine and sophisticated medical equipment to only our solders and regime (maybe that?s why those old folks fight, because they were former solders/militiamen lucky enough to get this kind of medical treatment) while 99% of our citizens are not permitted to receive this kind of treatment.
