Makes me a little sad. The song's like two decades old and there was a time where it was overplayed, but whenever I hear it these days, it makes me sad.

Maybe because I'm old?

in fact alot of pink floyd is like that IMO.

If you think "Pink Floyd - Time" is bad, "The Alan Parsons Project - Time" is a lot sadder. They are actually completely different songs.

It makes you remember every missed opportunity in your life and all the people you were close with but are no longer in touch with. It is far sadder than Pink Floyd - Time which is actually upbeat in comparison. Listen to it at night alone.

Since you like Pink Floyd, get the "Roger Waters - Amused to Death" album pretty much all of the songs are depressing but "Watching TV" is just plain saddening.

agreed...but its not just sad...it is beautiful too

River of Tears by Eric Clapton is very sad....

Oh yeah - good one! "The Living Years" is really sad. I mean horribly sad. I was young and my Dad was on a business trip (involving a plane trip - as safe as they are) and the video came on. Even though my Dad I didn't get along very well it was insanely saddening - in fact not getting along with my Dad very well is what made it so much worse and the song is exactly about that.

That was my own personal senior year song. I almost broke down when I heard it played in the movie "Listen to Me." Incredibly crappy movie, great song.
