I haven't seen this posted yet, so I thought I'd get it on here. I was checking out AMD's new website and noticed that they are selling their "processor in a box" directly now.
They don't have the lowest prices but they are pretty good considering you get retail. That saves you the price of a heatsink/fan, gives you a longer warrantee and let you know you won't have to worry about some sleazy e-retailer trying to remark the chip. I know I always buy my ram from Crucial for the security of knowing what I'm getting. It may cost a little more but it's worth it. Anyway here's the link:
