Saggy pants law in Florida

A town in Florida put a saggy pants law into effect. Offender showing their underwear will face a $150 fine or community service, second time offenders will face a $300 fine or more community service.

I'm not for the government usually breathing down our necks, but I like this one. I for one am sick of seeing these idiots walking around with their pants around their knees like some big moron. "Pull them up or face the fine"

I think they should be allowed to wear their pants however they want. They should be allowed to wear only underwear if they choose.

It's public decency, the public shouldn't be forced to look at these morons. You can't walk around nude. Right now I do get enjoyment with the fact that they will make less money than me, face more prison time by being a walking profile, and watching them trip over their untied shoes.

underwear isn't nudity. Are they requiring pulled up jeans over your bikini at the beach? As long as you aren't nude I don't give a fcuk what you wear. Private businesses can have any dress code they want.

Problem for whom? What compelling safety issue is caused by baggy pants to the extent that the blunt force of government needs to be brought to bear on the problem? I keep searching the Constitution trying to find the "right to not be offended" amendment but so far my search has been fruitless.

Right...so you'd be all for banning miniskirts, bikinis, and gym shorts as well.

It's a stupid look, but the law is even stupider. Yet another reason why Florida figures prominently in my "most hated states" list.

How is that indecent? Are their genitals showing?

If they took the pants off completely would that make them legal again since it's legal to wear just underwear (as long as nothing is showing).
