Give it a chance man. I don't like it, but I got used to it.

Ill probably try it out, but after having so many games using the triggers I find myself hating having no control over acceleration. Its either fully on or not.

Damnit... no! I rarely even bother to look for control options in console games since most don't have options.

There are helicopters at the airport - closer to the terminal IIRC. There were at least 3 there when I checked and nabbed one for myself to park in my garage

I love how pretty much everything is accessible at the start of the game - it's a true sandbox game. Only Crackdown has been better IMO and that's because of the super powers.

I accidently discovered a way to make almost bottomless amounts of cash, albeit slowly.

I carjacked some rival gang's Jeep Wrangler looking car that was one on the "chop shop" list. Started heading over to the drop off point and had half a dozen gang members following me. Dropped off the car, got $1000 and waited for the gang members to hop out of their cars. Killed them, got in their car and dropped them off for an additional $500 a pop.

Rinse. Repeat. They just kept showing up one after another. I'd kill them, drive their car 5 feet to the drop off point and just kept collecting cash.

The "Fuzz" activity is a hoot. Nothing like ending your evening on a high note when you hop out of a police car and chainsaw kill a naked dude while a camera man cheers you on.

Kill a bunch of cops near one of those drive-through confessional things, keep killing them until they send cops with better weapons, and eventually you'll encounter SWAT guys with AR-15s. Keep killing until you have all the ammo you want, then go through the drive-through and lose your wanted level.

This is even better with a co-op partner since its easier to not die

I've also been looking out for an armored truck, since that was the easy way to make a ton of money in the old game.

The only thing I don't like about the trigger gas/break scheme is that A is the cruise control button and X is the handbrake...should be the other way around.

Lola picked this game up for me yesterday. I only played for 45 minutes but it has been good so far. The car controls are a little twitchy, but it's not too bad and it makes things more interesting. I already killed a streaker

I thought it got pretty choked down during really chaotic sections of the "Trailblazer" and "Mayhem" activities. I have the PS3 version as well.

I have been playing this game all weekend. This is the best game in years. Screw the glitches, the speedup and slowdowns. The game is just damn fun. I am not even doing missions, I am just playing in the sandbox and doing fun shit with tossing, the samarai sword, mini-games and just random crap. Its so damn fun and addicting. I was driving around the whole city listening to the 80s radio station when my character (hispanic young female) starts singing along with the radio. It was the funniest shit listening to her screw up the words and humming along to the parts she didnt know. Apparently its an acheivment, but I think it just happens randomly. Definately, IMO, the must fun game of it's genre since GTA:San Andreas. In fact, I am liking it a tad more.

Forgot to mention this earlier. SR2 locked up on me once. I was about to start the "Mayhem" mini-game and it just locked. I couldnt even power down my 360 via the gamepad. No red-rings but I had to power off from the unit. I hope it was just a bit of bad code and not my 360.

You guys want fun? Do all the mayhems with a buddy coop. One of you drive and the other tosses out the satchel charges. The satchel bombs are sweet to sticky to a car going into a traffic jam, sticky to a person who runs into a crowd....

This game is the best game I have bought in a VERY long time.

Yes! Thats some sick fun crap man! My son and I were doing co-op and had to stop for breath a few times! Some hilarious stuff. I love this game.
