Saitek Eclipse keyboard problem

For whatever reason, my space bar is seesawing. What i mean is if i press down one side, the other side stays up and this causes the space bar to not actually go down in the middle. If you have a Saitek Eclipse, is it possible to pop off the space bar, fix it, and then reattach it with no problems?

Yes it is possible. With that said, I shipped my saitek eclipse to saitek to get fixed cause the paint was coming off the keys, and I have never seen it since. I'm talking since christmas here...

i'm considering a saiteck eclipse...
are there lots of problems? My buddy has 1 and he loves it.

I like the keyboard. Only real problem after several months (i think 8) is that the space bar magically broke. The other minor problem is that the paint on the keys wears out. My WSD keys are pretty worn out, but you can still tell what keys they are.

Woot, well i decided to use a little more force and pop off that space bar. Apparently a little metal bar came loose, I reattached that and now it seems to be working perfectly fine.

I have two. Red & Blue. No problems yet with either.
