I know someone who lives where humidity and salt air is really a problem for her computer. She's had it in the shop three times in one year, all related to humid, wet, salt air. She doesn't want to move, but, was wondering if there is anything she can do to help prevent the moisture from ruining her computer parts. Is there a low buck way to help prevent the parts from picking up the moisture? I was thinking of placing several of those little bags that are used to ship out computer parts, inside her computer case, but, only buy and use larger ones, but, maybe there is a way to run a little dehumidifier, inside the case, or something? What about charcoal? I know it absorbs odors, what about moist, saltly air?
