I do not know what a "sam's club" or a "costco" is (sounds painful), but I'll take a bj any day, any time.

I'd like to check out a Costco or Price Club as well, but I've never lived in an area with one. My parents use Sam's Club though.

We don't have a Costco (although I have been to them in CA and ove them), so BJ's it is because Sam's Club (was a member there for a year before I left) is not as good with prices and selection as BJ's.

Costco is much better than Sam's; never heard of BJ (besides the obvious reference).

A long time ago my folks had a Sam's membership, and I (we) thought it sucked. Then Costco moved in and for a couple of years I was (am still) a huge Costco fanboy. I now live in a city that has only a Sam's so I no longer have access to Costco and again I find myself loathing Sam's.

I find the employees to be less useful, the selection blows and the prices are not good at all. Even taking into account for buying in bulk I still get better deals going to a grocery store (Wegmans) or even Target. My Costco membership ($45?) easily paid for itself in a few trips; once with me just buying a set of tires. I pay $35 for a Sam's membership and I am pretty confident that it hasn't paid for itself yet.

I actually joined Costco not that long ago to grab a 37" 1080p LCD for 1300$...and found out not long after that Sam's club had one for 1000$. T.T

My family went to Sam's Club for the longest time until Cost Co's came up in the area...we haven't been back to Sam's yet, I love Cost Co.

but i like Costco WAY better than Price Club. Larger, better items, better prices, not sure about price clubs return policy but costsos is great, and i would prefer not to support Wal-Mart through sams club

Likewise. The "freezer" in our fridge is tiny and cramped.
