As CEO she has accountability to promote diversity within her own organization, not carte blanche to criticize the hiring choices of entirely different companies. That would be akin to me criticizing her for marrying a black man rather than a white woman because of diversity reasons. If she wants to make the business decision to base supplier decisions on their workforce diversity rather than economic concerns and face the resulting shareholder opinion then fine, but otherwise it's not her place.
She specifically says that other companies shouldn't be hiring only white males, which is her right. And it's also my right to not shop at her shitty store since she isn't hiring the best qualified for the job, but employing antiquated affirmative action hiring based on skin color.

All she says is that she would like to see more women. By specifically mentioning that she only sees Caucasian males, is a bit short sighted of her and is the cause of the uproar.
That she prefers a diverse group of people in her company is her good right if she means that she wants to give everyone an equal chance. However, if she would for example refuse a Caucasian male with the right skill set, based on his ethnic background, then she is performing an act of racism. And can be sued. You do not know if that actually happened. Clearly it did not because she has white males under contract.
Generally, a company should hire based on the skill set an employee has. Other wise, it would not be fair for the other employees. Work hard, get passed by because you fit the majority or because you do not have the ethnic background desired. That is discrimination.
There is a reason people go on job interviews and that people have a probation period at the new job. If applied correctly, the wrong gets sifted from the right, regardless ethnic background.

Like UTAH has a huge majority of whites and hence the best qualified are probably going to be mostly white - there is simply a much larger pool of whites that will apply due to spatial location to the work site.
