It's actually cheaper at ewiz with promocode MAGIC15.

passmark says these things are way fast. if only it came in a 1.5 TB size, then i could dump my green storage drive as well as my game drive for just one drive (after all, one drive is greener than 2)
I think I'm at around 7TB or storage with the hodgepodge of drives I have.
:awe:
The 2TB SpinPoint F3EG? The 2TB drive is only 5400RPM. The 1TB F3 is 7200 and outperforms the "green" drive by a considerable margin.
Yeah

I don't really care much about 7200 vs 5400 as I do overall space available.
For the price of that 2TB F3EG you can get two 1TB F3s and put them in a 2TB RAID-0 and have even further performance gains. The hard drive is the slowest thing in a modern system. No reason to keep it slow.
Price during the "sale":
Newegg: $89 - coupon code = $69.
Ewiz: $83 - coupon code = $68. (I think this is correct.)
Price after sale (on 5/26):
Newegg: $80
Ewiz: $70
Don't you love how these places mark up prices & give you a coupon code to get an *AMAZING DEAL*?
I have 3 of them in RAID-0. These are results with 1.7TB on the 3TB array.
Here's what I was getting when I was transfering my games back to the array from a single 1TB SpinPoint F1 and a single 1.5TB Seagate 7200.11 at the same time. The read performance on both single drives seemed to be maxed.
