I have ordered from EM$ once before. They had a free shipping day and it took 5 business days before they shipped the item, but it was sent from a distributer in my state and in good condition. ***This IS an excellent monitor and price!*** I own two other Samsung SyncMaster (1000p 3yrs and 1100p 2yrs) monitors and am very happy with the quality of the products!!!

How did you find this price??? I sure hope these aren't returns or a refurb -you didn't see anything in the fine print I hope!

Anyway, once you order at EM$ you're pretty much locked-in, so I'll report back the results!

That's a screaming price. I just got mine last week for $800 to the door. However, I don't know about EMS. I hate to order items over $200 or so from places I don't know well.

It's a new product, so there might not be much in the way of reviews. You can note in my earlier post I've owned similar products from Samsung before. I'm certain this will be an excellent monitor, and I've been (and I am now) VERY picky about the image. As soon as this monitor arrives, I'll be putting it through serious testing with a Monitor test program I use.

Since this is Samsung's top of the line in this product category, I just trust this is an excellent product (from past favorable experience w/Samsung monitors).

I used to have there 900NF (19" version of this monitor) and that in my opinion was one of the BEST 19's, so I'd also think the 1200NF will be sweet. I'd get this monitor but I got a 22" Flat Mitsu Dplus200 for 200$ last month

I knew this would happen - I also got this monitor from egghead for $840 - $30 rebate shipped from egghead. Just came in today. Very nice.
FYI, for some reason, EMS lists this as a 20" monitor - probably why ppl can't find it. Probably won't last long at that price. About half of the sites that claim to sell this monitor don't have it in stock yet.

all the monitors with this diamondtron tube, such as samsung 1200nf and mitsubishi 2040u are 22" with 20" viewable. they are a bit larger than some 21" monitors that have 19.8" viewable

Mine arrived yesterday in excellent/new condition from EMS. Amazingly, I didn't see the horizontal lines on this monitor till the next day!!! I usually would NEVER have bought this monitor had I read the specs (closely) and realized this was a Trinitron! I preferred Invar Shadow Mask monitors UNTIL now! I'm keeping this baby, and I can't believe I'd ever say these words.

I'm surprised I'm getting used to the flat screen quicker than I thought! I'm not sure how it will be looking at my "old" 1000P curved screen next to this one, but I'll live w/it!

The Samsung 1200NF is a terrific 22" monitor. I purchased two of them here at work and they rock! My price at the time was $820. EMS has a terrific price.
