Samsung 172x LCD.. DVI cable?

I've been considering getting a Samsung 172x LCD to replace my SyncMaster 753DF... and I've been reading reviews. Some of which say that Samsung does include a DVI cable... and then others say it doesn't.

Can anyone confirm? Specifically the ones sold in Canada. The 172x goes for about $720 here

The Egg isn't showing a DVI cable.

Mine came with a DVI cable.

I use a VP171B now, though.

The Samsung is supposed to have better color replication, but i dont think either of them rank very high for that.

No discernable performance difference, better out of the box settings, and ADJUSTABLITY. OMG, enjoy staring down at your Samsung or drop your chair as low as it will go.

Is capable of more colors, but I didn't notice.

Was just browsing one of my local comp shop websites in Vancouver, BC here and found out they're carrying the 172x for $689, sounds like a good price .

Desktop LCD's have pretty much always been 5:4 - so 1280x1024 works perfectly on a 17". Pixel size proportion are the same, just higher number of vertical pixel lines, that's all.
