I got the Display Model as well, and am waiting 14days before I register, as I was told by the store manager that there is a 14 day $$ back if not happy with the unit.

I got the Display Model as well, and am waiting 14days before I register, as I was told by the store manager that there is a 14 day $$ back if not happy with the unit.

The store manager told me the same thing...14 days to return. I've tested it and so far, I'm happy with it...better than my Dell 19 inch LCD.

It's instore only and the chances of you finding one now are kind of slim. I picked up a display unit for:

$259.99-$100 MIR-$30 MIR-$20 Coupon (maybe)=$109.99

I haven't gone back with the coupon yet so we'll see if I get it added.

The instore price for this monitor is supposed to be $299 now so you should get to a store ASAP and try for a $100 price adjustment. The monitor is no longer in the online database and will be removed from the internal price list soon.

YMMV may vary on the price match. They told me no at 2 stores. Said they don't price match on their clearance items as per their policy.
If I remember correctly, their policy does say that, even though some have gotten the match

As long as you are within the 14 days, it should not be a problem at all. If it's been more than 2 weeks you might have to wheedle a bit. If you tried within 14 days and were denied, I'd call OD HQ.

I think the clearance status of this item is what stopped them from giving it to me, though some stores ignore that.

I'm not sure how to read this paragraph though, I read it as they should match the price if they have it in stock at that time you want the match.: "Items that are marked as "clearance" are only available at the clearance price when the item(s) are marked "clearance" and in stock in the store"

UPDATE:
I just spoke again to management at my store. They said no again. clearance price is not matched. A shame some of you guys can get the price match and others can't.

Update 2: district manager says the paragraph above means you only get a clearance price at that moment you buy it, that's why it says "are only available at the clearance price when marked clearance" I told him it would be nice if all of their stores would apply the rules evenly. They should also clarify that paragraph by just saying we don't price match our own clearance items. Geeezzz. Lawyers

anyway, you should try the price match, you might get it. Never hurts to try.

That's nonsense. If you are within your 14 days, you can always return the item and buy it back at the clearance price.

Those of us who got adjustments after two weeks were definitely lucky but the policy clearly says that you can do it within 2 weeks.

Anybody in the Colorado area, there is at least a floor model available at the Fort Collins Store. There may be more, but I didn't think to ask, as I hadn't read the thread in a while.
(If I can get the price match I may have dual displays. I know, i know, greedy. But, I deserve it...for some reason..I will tell you when i come up with it. )
