bought mine tonite. i basically tried ALL local office depots for NIB. None had them but i finally received a display model. Not a huge discount for open box but they had the CD, paperwork and all the cables. The monitor is in good shape and zero dead pixels. Plus, i have very good experience with Samsung customer service.

This is a HUGE upgrade to my Samsung 17" analog. In fact, i pick up my refurbished 17" tomorrow to resell.

I picked up the display model in Peabody, MA. They actually had one in the box on Sat. but I hesitated and it was gone today. The manager would only take another $25.00 off the display model - they didn't have the box but it did come with all the cables, paperwork and even the UPC cut out from the box!
Anyway, they also checked the Woburn, MA store but there were none in stock there. The computer did show stock at the Nashua, NH store and the Plymouth, MA store but I didn't ask how many.
TY OP, I've been looking to go LCD for awhile and for $275.00 after rebate this one can't be beat.

I'm still waiting to hear back from officedepot.com support as to the status of my missing cable; so in the meantime I went to the Maple Groove (in MN) and the manager there was nice enough to give me a DVI cable. (this store also has one display model left).

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I knew my IBM P260 21"CRT was slowly going bad but didn't realize how bad the black levels were until the Samsung was hooked up. Plus the amount of desk space freed up by removing a 21"CRT is incredible!!

Uh... yeah... but, this is an OD discontinued product, so... what do you think your chances are of finding that product in December when numerous folks have posted that they've been unable to find it or have gotten the floor samples?

If you want it, best get out there now... or better yet, a few weeks ago!

If you want one of these monitors, get it TODAY!!! Office Depot is running a 2-day, 30% off promotion on monitors. The out-the-door price for the 215TW today is $279.31 and the rebate still applies so the net price will be $179 + tax! I just got back from getting a price adjustment on the monitor I bought 2½ weeks ago. The clerk rang it up as an "Exchange" so I may have to dispute a possible rebate rejection but it is definitely still good.

AND...if you didn't get yours until after the 1st of October, there is an additional $30 rebate available from Samsung. If you've been on the fence, you want to jump right now. The store I went to had only the display model left and the regional inventory showed 1 left elsewhere in the area.

Thanks to everyone for this one. I picked one last friday brand new still in the box, and I am going to see if I can get 30% off, and love that extra $30 coupon as well. With this deal, It is more affordable then ever. I am not sure how we are going to do since $30 off coupon requires original UPC since photocopies are not valid.

Do you have to go back to the original store of purchase for the price adjustment, or can you go to any Office Depot?

Just found out it is for 10/13 and 10/14, so the adjustments can be made tomorrow as well.

Athena, how did you get the price adjustment after 2 1/2 weeks? I bought mine on Sept 28 and they wouldn't adjust it for me today because it was past the 14 day mark.

Even though the return period for Technology items is 14 days, the standard 30 day price protection still applies. The easiest thing to do would be to try another store. If you don't succeed, call OD HQ on Monday.

Just got off work and I called the OD near me. The clerk on the phone knew exactly what I was looking for as soon I mentioned "Samsung". He said it's gone. All the store around the Seattle area is completely OOS.

I am all but running around yelling in an Austin Powers voice "YEAH BABY YEAH!!!"

I bought mine on the 26th, and wasn't sure if I was going to get the price match or not...

I went in and said that I had bought a clearance monitor about 2 weeks ago, and would like to get a price adjustment... The manager took the reciept and was trying to figure out if it was more than two weeks ago.... he seemed to be deciding if it was close enough to go ahead and do it, but apparently was math challeneged.... the clerk and the manager both couldn't figure out how much it was going to be off, and then decided 30% off of $399 was $12... so he said "sure, we will give you the 30% off..."

When I was sure he was committed, I said actually, I think its about $120 off.... I immediately saw his brow furrow and his teeth clench, but I knew I had him at that point... lol...

He grudgingly did the override, and walked off... the clerk gave me the reciept, a coupon for $10 off next $10, and then when the rebate for $100 printed, it was like I had pulled a gun and robbed the place... lmao... I grabbed my stuff and non-chalantly ran for the door....

Try another store or try another manager... I think OD quietly switched from a 30 day price guarantee to 14 days... thats what they have on there website when you search for low price guarantee. Text

I just hope there aren't issues with the monitor... I have seen a high number of complaints with red, yellow and/or blue verticle lines appearing on the screen after time with this model... Oh well, it does have a 3 year warranty.

I live in So Cal. I called a store near me and the clerk said it's OOS in his district. I asked, "District? Like cities?" He started naming every city I am surrounded by. I couldn't stop him from listing like 10 cities and maybe more. For those, who live in OC, it's gone. Don't bother to call.
