Ok I had something weird over the weekend. On friday when I turned on my computer, my 2tb samsung drive gave a AHCI port error. Two times in a row the computer failed to boot because it flagged a error on that port during post. On the third attempt it booted normally, but every disk checking program I used including crystal, seagate's tools, speedfan etc they showed a bad drive health, windows told me I had a failing drive, due to a slow spinup speed. This is the first this has ever happened. I freaked out and started backing up things, but the rest of the weekend, the computer booted fine and now drive tests on that drive show no problem? The house was about 60 degrees when I first had this happen, could this have caused it? I guess time will tell just wondered if anyone else had something like this happen and then not re-occur
