Trader4ever, thanks for the tip to Comp USA. I am going to get the Samsung 712N
today as there are 3 left in Houston at one store.
Yesterday, BF, I went to the CompUSA store closest to me, and they had
sold out of the Samsung, but they had 3 left of the Norwood Micro.
Manufacturer: Norwood Micro
Mfg Part #: 130507
Product Number: 313561
$349.99
With mail in rebate and instore instant $100 rebate the price was 199.99 plus tax for the NM..
I was debating to myself what to do, while 2 people grabbed 2 of the three left, so
I picked up one, then a couple of more people came looking for the Norwood Micro,
and tried to talk me out of the one in my hand. They ended up buying the NM, and
Samsung 712N Display models off the floor.
Here is the specs on the Norwood. It seems Ok to me, after I set it up, nicely packaged, very easy to read manual, bright and very clear. Maybe one dead pixel (white)
but so far that is the only one I can see. What does anyone know about these? Doesn't seem to be much
about them on the web.
