Very poor performance really

AS SSD Benchmark with Intel Chipset Drivers 9.4.0.1023 + MSAHCI Driver (W7)

I put it in RAID 0 with my two other 840 EVOs just to make things a bit better. so sad, I don't know why a same 840 EVO mSATA would be so much worse than a normal 840 EVO

LOL no seriously man, I thought it should hit 500 MB ++ in both seq. read and write, it's not crossing the 500 Mark.

Also, look at that poor 4K result, 31 MB/S, the normal EVO 840 1TB reaches 41 MB to 47 MB (depending on its mood)

Looks fine, to me. Better than their 2.5" sample in the high QD test, even. Different systems get different results, and different drive samples will be slightly different. It all comes out in the wash, after you write over an SSD a few times.

Those benchmarks do not include the mSATA version of the 840 EVO 1 TB

My normal 840 EVO benchmarks are fine:

EDIT: just saw the overall score, the mSATA is a bit better! LOL, I guess I shouldn't worry then

How many times did you run the benchmark?

Did you boot into safe mode?

I ask because one pass while the computer is running a bunch of other stuff is generally not a useful result. Average speed for 20+ passes would be better.

And -- I'm just guessing -- with TRIM enabled . . .

Again, a little familiarity with sampling helps. Given the variability -- random or otherwise for multi-tasked software, "task-scheduler," etc. -- you'd be best to take a few passes to get an average.
