hello all think this is a good price for the evo. now im ordering one before you guys get me on back-order

just adding it is on ebay for like 189 free shipping no tax collected up front i think, unlike the 16 I paid using amazon since I sent mine to NYC. in this case I go amazon since I don't want to risk data with an unknown company handling my drive, trojans, and ama has good service, just to save a few bucks.

Actually this very same drive is $165 on ebay daily deal right now. There are is no ebay linking on this forum, but it's not hard to find it yourself.

Haven't seen a current (fatwallet had it on sept 9) deal lower on the EVO version, its much faster than the regular 840 which is of course cheaper. it may even beat the pro but has a 3 year warranty vs a 5 I think. of course bf will have deals and oct etc... but if you need it now, and want a reputable dealer like I do it seems like a a nice deal.

I wish I owned beach camera think they have been around forever. just a retired electronics vet. saw a good deal on a highly rated piece of gear and like to share something for the decade plus lurking on Anand when I can. Really so proud of him.

my hardly used and babied western digital essential 3tb took a slight fall onto carpet and died data wise taking of course priceless stuff. I don't know if its on chip crytpo and calibrated so cant swap the card, and I think a complex data restore you need like 9 terabytes and a lot of time to rebuild if even possible. since my house was destroyed by sandy i am using a borrowed laptop which is why I bought the WD drive. well it really makes me hate WD even if that is just the nature of platters and possible write action...er while in trajectory. Really I see friends laptops and kids with screens falling off keys missing that they just toss and no problem so even though I cant afford it I am biting the bullet and getting a ssd in hopes its not so ridiculously sensitive. Don't know if this runs cool or has ESD or other issues but seems to have good reviews (good speed, value and reliable...I am not interested in its speed bump tech at the moment ) and good MBF. going to try and use it on a esata port and a usb 2 or 3 for power it the cable I ordered works..

However I will accept cash and prizes or a job should samsung , beach c, AMD etc choose to offer...thanks for the support!
