Tried the S4 yesterday while a friend was getting one and both the display model and my friend's new S4 were lag-free. I am sure you can find instances where there are lags but compared to what I've seen at the time of release, it's remarkably smoother.

Not to mention that even if he did say that, in context it's probable he meant for the immediate future and not eternity. Gates isn't and wasn't stupid.

For instance, in a forum post I could say 32GB is more than enough RAM for anyone. It should be obvious if it's a conversation about personal system building I don't mean that in 10 years time we won't need more RAM than that.

Just need to modify device's config file to set the GenerateSoftwareLag to false and it should solve the problem. On some older versions you'll want to set IdleSpinlocks to "0" as well.

No idea why they put those there. Probably testing purposes or something.

Not at all.

The only Galaxy products you should worry yourself with are the Galaxy S*.* (without anything after *.*), and Galaxy Note.
All other Galaxy products are pretty much either trash, useless, or meh in that they will get 2nd priority from Samsung after the other two Galaxy products I listed above.

They can release a million Galaxy phones for all I care, it won't affect me in anyway because my eyes will only focused on those two Galaxy products that I mentioned.
All other Galaxy products to me are irrelevant.

Snapdragon 600 @ 1.9GHz is a beast.

For the few days I had it, I agree. Not one hint of stuttering either. Buttery smooth and everything is "right now".
I honestly can't think of anything being faster than the One or S4. God bless the S600.

The S4 Pro is pretty fast, and don't confuse the XFone with the mysterious flagaship yet to be named.

good for tracking storms... Yeah it looked like it was gonna fall apart but now it looks like it's on track again.
