Samsung Galaxy Nexus specs leaked

Looks like the name that was decided on is the Galaxy Nexus, not the Droid Prime, Nexus Prime, etc... Makes sense, stick with the Galaxy name that's doing well. Hope these are true! My OG Droid is on its last legs.....

The 5MP sensor of the SGS and Nexus S were pretty darn good.

Things I hope for:
- LED notification (possible)
- Hardware shutter (less likely)

Come on now, we all know MP isn't everything. I know I don't plan on blowing up poster size photos from my phone, so anything above 5MP is more or less a waste. It can record 1080P, so it should have a good lens.

VZW exclusive in US only, probably even only for a short amount of time too. Elsewhere in the world it will work on other carriers, presumably some of them use HSPA.

5mp vs 8mp is useless. I have an Olympus 5060w camera that is 5mp and it takes better pictures than most non-pro 12+mp cameras. Its not mp but quality that counts. higher than 5-6mp is only useful for pro editing, and if you were concerned about pro editing you wouldnt be using a phone as a camera anyway.

It is not the SGS2 that is the issue, it is the fact that iFans will have an obvious dig at the phone. Honestly I just mentioned the SGS2 because it is amazing they would go backwards...

So, yes, it will not perform as well as the SGS2. I thought the 4460 had the new GPU, until my bubble was burst by reading this... ugh.
