Totally different products, 640×320 isn't high enough for text really, only low res video. The Samsung one looks way more portable, with a sleeve you could just leave it in a bag like a phone or calculator. It looks more like a spontaneous thing though, you wouldn't want to tell someone you're bringing a projector and then show up with that. No problem guys I got this, Power Point in 320p
How do you guys like using the flip cover when you go to take a picture? Also, the cover isn't magnetic, correct? So you end up having it flap open and what not?
Based on other threads he seems like he may have an issue with Korean stuff as a whole and not just Samsung. He always goes out of his way to push the superiority of Japanese products and even point out that his HTC One S was purchased in Japan as if that absolves it from being a Taiwanese phone with a pentile Samsung qHD Super Amoled display.
I have phones from different countries because I live/work there. I've used HTC phones since 2005. And, yes, I prefer good quality to bad. You must disagree...
So you think your pentile qHD Super AMOLED display is good but the RGB 720p Super AMOLED display in the Note 2 is bad?

Yes, because the phone has a blue tint and we're all too blind or stupid to see it.
Dari, I didn't see your response to the color balance on my Note 2. Do Papermate pens have a blue tint to them?
Are mp3s better than cd-quality music? Hell no.
Funny comparison to make. Mp3 are provably superior to CD music. You can either have the same or similar quality with much less space used, or with a higher bit-rate you can have superior quality music, while still using less space.
Now obviously, if your source for your mp3 files is a CD, the result will always be ever so slightly lower quality than the original CD music. But a proper mp3 made from the raw music recorded at the studio it can and will be superior to CD.
Why Samsung is going with bigger greens (in their old OLEDs) or extra blues (in the latest Note II oled screen), I don't fucking know. What I do know is that the screen looks nauseating. Obviously, if you've been using Samsung's high end phones for several years now, you've become accustomed to poor color reproduction so these phones look fine to you. But for those of us that aren't, well, the difference is clear.
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. Perhaps if you explained it better, and had better images, I would see your point.
You proved my point for me actually. There was no noticeable blue tint with a known white object in frame for comparison.
Glad you didn't notice! I would've hated to be using a phone you didn't approve of.
I'm not sure how I proved your point. The picture was terrible so I did not even comment on it...
The problem is that I have no idea what you are talking about. I look at my phone and I look at my fiancee's iPhone side by side and the only noticeable difference is that my Note 2 has a much larger screen. And "several years"? The Note 2 has been out in USA for a couple months. I've had this one for less than one full month. There was nothing wrong with the screen when I got it and it's still fine today.
Are you sure you weren't looking at a Note 2 with some blue color theme running on chrome that gave it a blue background? I can't see how you would mistake the white for blue otherwise.
Are you blind?
Not sure why you keep trying to goad me into an extreme response. The moderators in this sub-forum don't tolerate that. Provide a better image and explain what you are trying to do so we can have a civil discussion.
