Looks to me like the corners of the S3 are cracked too. From what I've seen both the SGS and SGS2 were way more durable than the S3.

As long as Apple continues to do edge-to-edge glass on the phone, other companies using the same material (Gorilla Glass etc) will always be more durable (well, the glass will be). Gorilla Glass is amazing straight on, but its weak along its edges, which the iphone doesn't protect without a case.
Not exactly a real world usage scenario...
Seems pretty obvious to me. Testing the screens resistance to scratching in an absurd way. I don't think they were trying to simulate real world scenarios.What a foolish test.
People don't use their phones for drag racing. What exactly is this test trying to achieve?
A drop test? Now that makes a lot of sense...Unlike this one.
